Holiday Inn Express Hotels & Suites Topeka West, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was very good with many options except they had run out of milk the morning we were there which was disappointing cause I need milk to eat cereal and pancakes. The breakfast area was roomy and attractive. The beds were very comfortable. The double bed room was large. The hot tub water was very hot just the way I like it and the pool was warm. The entire facility was well maintained.

They could have sent someone to the store to buy milk. I had requested a ground floor room when booking and got confirmation that they could honor my request but when I checked in they gave me a third floor room.

TV. Internet. Sleeping. Shower.

Seem to recall the shower curtains are too short for the tub, so water gets on the bathroom floor. Did my best to limit that in deference to the housekeeper. Told her so as I checked out. Discussed the matter with Front Desk in the morning who replied, "We know." Buy longer shower curtains maybe? Sign on Front Door of hotel announces to arriving guests that the pool is out of order. Not a good way to greet guests or send away prospective ones. Call "The Pool Guy?"

The breakfast was very good. Access to interstate, gas stations, and nearby restaurants was good.

The bed was too soft to be comfortable for me. The exercise room was very small...not really room for more than 2 or 3 people to use at one time.

Desk clerk was very friendly and gave us the room we requested when booking. The WiFi works! It has been an issue in the other place we used to stay in. Room was in good shape and clean. My husband loved the spa & pool. The beds and pillows were nice. We stay in Topeka every 3 months for a medical procedure and definitely stay here again.

The taxes added on to the room price is high. I know that’s nothing the hotel can control.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, location, good breakfast. Staff friendly. Had several gas station nearby and a lot of restaurants were just down the main road. Convenient to the interstate but without the noise.

Breakfast was excellent with nice quality and variety. The dining area was spacious, no crowded as at other motels. Fruits and coffee were available 24/7.

General areas were much too cold, 65 degrees or less. Too cold, even in August heat. I have no other comments to make and do no appreciate being forced to supply unnecessary comments. .

I wish Holiday Inn would start serving breakfast again like most other hotels and motels are. If you are not going to serve breakfast then say that on your website instead of making everyone think you are. In some apps you pay more for breakfast included. A muffin or a banana is NOT breakfast...!!!

It was easy access from interstate, clean and friendly. Plus all the restaurants and gas stations made it very handy.

Everything seemed clean. The staff was nice. breakfast was what we expected. it was hot and replenished frequently.
