MainStay Suites Geismar - Gonzales

The room was an excellent value. I was expecting a basic 2 queen bed room but it also included a 2 burner cook top, full size refrigerator, microwave/oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and dining room table with 4 chairs. The room was large with lots of storage. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

The pillows were too soft for my taste but it's that way no matter where I stay. I usually bring my own pillows but forgot this time.

Location was great. Bed was really comfortable. Staff was really nice, facilities were clean.

Two things that I did not like. 1- my pillow was too small, smaller than the standard pillow. I had to use two pillows (side by side), and it is not the same thing. They could have used standard or king pillows, it would be a lot better. 2- my room had a dishwasher and it was packed with dirty dishes, I guess they forgot to wash it and put them back to the cabinets after the last guest. I needed a spoon and I did not have any clean one to use.

great location for us, staff and facilities are nice. pet friendly.

allowing guests to sit out front at 9am getting drunk and loud. not a good impression.

It was no hassle checking in and great customer service with the front desk rep

My rest was broken after working long hours I gotten three knocks on my door back to back starting at 8:30am for towels 2 times check out not til 11am., but I requested a late checkout for 12:30pm with the clerk and she said yes she would let them know.Then the last time it was I guess the housekeeping manager to ask why was I still there it wasn’t told I had gotten a late check out for 12:30pm, but she did apologize and The bathroom could have use a little more cleaning and sanitizing like the toilet and the wall behind the toilet.

It was extremely clean and comfortable, the hot breakfast was outstanding and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our very early arrival after driving for 16 hours. We will definitely stay here on subsequent trips to Louisiana!

It’s in a great location. Parking is great. The room was very nice and spacious. It really feels like home. Great place to stay definitely will be back. The breakfast was great as well. Wonderful Staff

There was a spider in my bed. But the lady at the desk had my sheets changed and said she would have the room sprayed.

We never went to the breakfast. We had plans with family in town.

There was a bottle and some trash under the bed closest to the window. The rest of the room was clean but obviously they missed looking under the bed. Imagine my surprise when my grandson pulled out a bottle!! There were a bunch of noisy guys from about 6:30 until 9 A.M. in a room close buy. Music playing loudly and singing along with the chorus. These things happen I understand. Overall we loved the accommodations and will certainly give the place another try.

Luxurious, large room, Very quiet and even had a leather chair. Felt very homey, comfy bed and quick access to grassy areas for dog. Nice apt neighborhood with sidewalks behind motel for walking the dog.

Bryan and the staff were amazing! Very kind and helpful.The breakfast was delicious. Best buttermilk waffles ever.

The juice machine was broken,but not a big deal.
