TownePlace Suites by Marriott Lafayette South

Good location near the airport. Clean and modern. Helpful and friendly staff.

We thought we booked a one bedroom suite with a sofa bed. When we got there it was a studio. The sofa bed completely blocked the king bed. We asked for a different room with a one bedroom and they moved us to that type of room. Of course they charged us more. There were no sheets blankets pillows for the fold out sofa so I had to go down to the desk and ask for them.

I stayed at TownPlace Suites for two nights -- like most Towneplace properties, the room was great with a small but well designed kitchen. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Some may like the location for shopping -- I don't care for neighborhoods with malls and large boulevards, but the hotel is quiet and convenient. (If you like Indian, try Masala a few blocks away!)

Most guests weren't wearing masks and no one is calling them on it, even though signs require masks. I avoided the lobby, and had to wait for the elevator most times because unmasked guests would walk past me to get in first. Didn't mind the wait. Did mind the disrespect for employees and other guests.

The maintenance man was very friendly and very helpful! He was very quick and satisfying with the problem!

I actually didn’t find anything wrong! The maintenance man needs a raise he was at the front desk fixing things and keeping up the hotel! Because of him I’ll be back!

Sorry, I did it backwards. I liked everything. What I didn't like, I liked it all!!!!

We loved it. We definitely will stay again. The girl at the front desk was so so very helpful. We were lost for about 1 1/2 hr. She stayed on the phone with us the third time I called lost and she guided us to your hotel. Much thanks to her. She was as sweet and helpful as could be. We had a relaxing time. We even stayed an extra day. Thank you for your kindness etc. Will be back, especially since we know how to get there now. Thumbs up.

We stay there only 1 night, but if we have to stay again in Lafayette, high probability that we will be back there. The breakfast was good compare to what I had the experience on my previous trip with the current situation of the covid-19. Swimming pool look like very nice , but too cold to try.

Not much to say in this category, stayed there only one night, but nothing wrong or nothing bad found during my stay at this hotel.

The location was great. Right in the middle of everything. The room and the facilities were very clean and smelled fresh. The staff was very polite and helpful.

I always like the attention, they are all very nice always. The outside area is a nice little plus, we always try to use it. The beds are super comfy!

We arrived to our room and everything is always super clean. But this time the bathroom looked like it was not cleaned. We had a used less than half toilet paper,no extra and the walls around the bathroom had like a layer of grease and dust.

They very nice here. Great location! The area close to hotel where live. Close to restaurant and fast food restaurant. It close to Target and Albertson Grocery Store.

I like this hotel.My reservation was paid.The front clerk gave me the wrong key. Didn't give me another key. I paid for a reservation didn't get a hotel room

The only thing was wrong was the shower curtain had water stain like mildew an there was no iron in the room but the clerk explained why an I understand but when people come a long way an not iron before it's a problem an to see mildew on shower make u feel like things are not being clean
