The location is just minutes from Lake Charles, in a quiet area that is easy to get too with an open parking lot. The hotel is elegant and modern clean and smelled great. The studio rooms are a good size. The breakfast was among the best I've had at a hotel: waffles with multiple toppings available, bagels, muffins, scrambled eggs with cheese available as well as plain, awesome sausage, fruit, coffee, tea, milk, juice. Nice clean, roomy eating area with large windows. The price I paid through booking was less than half the price listed for 1 nights stay! Great deal! The other guests were very respectful and quiet.

The bath towels are large but thin is really my only complaint, oh and not enough Kleenex in the tissue box. Also, there were some issues going on at the front desk with staff being mixed up about what rooms were currently ready so check in took longer than it should and was not as pleasant as it could have been due to the front desk person's apparent stress level. Also, does not allow pets unfortunately. There also was no pool, but there is a nice back outdoor patio with comfy furniture. There is plenty of room to add a pool, so hope in the future they will!!

The hotel is nice, clean and tidy, satisfied overall.

There are only two fast food restaurants around and no other establishment to have meals. Breakfast is the usual kinda boring fare of watery eggs and sausage plus some continental fare. Goes from 6-9, bit too early closing for my preferences so I actually ate it just once. It's a small pet peeve but I dislike the light switches in bathrooms that are wired to exhaust fan. Your only choice is to stay there in the dark or be continuously assaulted with loud grinding noise.

I was in town for a model horse show with my granddaughter. The staff was VERY fun, friendly and accommodating. Booking.com canceled my reservation without me knowing and the wonderful woman at the desk helped me to get a room. She even upgraded us to a suite.

I had to get up early (6 am) to attend my function in Westlake. I had very loud neighbors in the next room. Laughing, talking, shouting, had other people come and join in. This went on late into the night until I had to make a call to the front desk. They took care of it quickly. Thank you.

The hotel is super clean with big room, nice comfortable bed and very clean and nice bathroom with a nice shower. The room is also featured with a nice kitchenette and big fridge. I didn't get to use it but it could be super helpful with family that didn't want to eat out. The staff is super friendly and helpful. KAYLA is awesome and she kept the breakfast tables clean at all time and offered to bring us pancake mix when it almost ran out. She also had nice conversation about where to go in the area.

The hotel is well located and very welcoming. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. I generally do not sleep well in hotels but here I was so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave my bed. The rooms are sound proof and I didn’t hear my neighbors or anyone in the corridor. Bathroom was very clean.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing. No healthy choices. please add yogurt and fresh fruits (strawberries or blueberries) and whole wheat or various breads. Thank you.

It was extremely clean and the staff were nice!

Well I bring my personal towels because I don’t like using hotel towels! House keeping took my “colored”personal towels while I was away ! The ac in one of my rooms wasn’t working! The wifi wasn’t strong enough in one of my rooms! And at exactly 11am housekeeping knocked on the door and said check out at 11! Well damn not even a minute later! I’ve been staying at all kinds of hotels all of my life and I have never had this happen!!!

The staff was very friendly! The breakfast was okay, regular breakfast. Bed was comfortable so that’s a plus!

I didn’t like that the staff was very loud by my room door early in the morning. I won’t be staying on the first floor again. Talking and laughing very loud… also slamming doors… I have a newborn baby and it scared him!

The cleanest, nicest, most comfortable stay we had on our 7 day travel stretch! Awesome breakfast and staff! They were the only hotel in miles that had a baby crib and it was already set up when we arrived! I have yet to find a hotel to do this! They care so much about being awesome and awesome is exactly what they are! They pay attention to detail and you feel right at home. Thank y’all for such an excellent stay!

A nice hidden gem at a very nice price. My room was clean and well-appointed. The entire hotel just felt... tidy. I liked the large walk-in shower. The hotel is tucked away, but easy to get to. The free breakfast was excellent. This is not a casino-type party hotel -- it's smoke-free and wonderfully quiet. Definitely coming back.

I have no negatives to report.

Breakfast was ok, much better than most places. Only meat was sausage - no bacon or ham. Other than that, everything as good. with variety.

In regards to the room - nothing! Very spacious, with everything needed...even dishwasher, stove top, cookware and dinnerware, full size fridge.
