SpringHill Suites by Marriott Annapolis

The staff was nice and the room was remodeled and very comfortable.

The property was being renovated and there was extreme noise. At 7:20 am I was startled awake by jack hammers and loud pounding. I was there because my husband had passed away and I was staying with my daughters, their husbands, and my grandchildren. The second night my one daughter’s family had been delayed at the airport and didn’t arrive until 3:30 am. I asked them to please not start so early. They did not start till 10 am! That was really appreciated. I did however, have to take the baby to another location for his nap time.

I liked that it has been newly renovated and everything about the hotel is fresh. The halls are cold therefore contact with others is almost germ-free using precaution. The kitchenette had a frig, coffeemaker and microwave. Basic but sweet. There was a living room area.

The kitchen breakfast area where we got the food was a little small for the amount of folks getting up for the morning meal. So many folks got up because there was a very nice selection of cold and hot food. Fruit, cereal, and juice were plenty. Thank you, you're doing a great job.

The breakfast was good. There was a variety options to choose from. It would been nice if turkey or beef breakfast meats were available.

I didn't like that our room wasn't clean after our first night. The wifi wasn't working properly, so we couldn't watch Netflix. Also, I should have been told that if I use my debit card, a 7 day hold would be placed on my checking account.

whirlpool was nice in our room but the tv was to far away from the bed.

I asked the overnight staff what time was check out and she told me 6 am and started laughing then I asked again and she said 12. My friend booked a room and he asked the same question and she told him 3 different times. Then I asked if I could get some more towels she said they would charge extra cause housekeeping gone for the night. I have stayed at many Marriotts and never had that experience when I can’t get 2 more towels.

Convenient to the local Annapolis area. The hotel staff are very friendly and polite. Indoor pool is a bonus.

The hotel itself could do with an update. Wallpaper peeling in bathroom of the room, several stains on the ceiling, which, I don't want to consider. Stairwell treads are buckled. Stairwell walls have damaged joints at base of stairwell. Very pricy hotel without a bar/restaurant.

the cleanliness of the rooms and space. I love that there was a room to accommodate my family of six and the full breakfast buffet included. the hotel was beautiful decorated for the holiday with fireplace roasting and a beautiful tree and the location was perfect. it's so affordable to travel with family and for business.

there was no bacon this time at the buffet.

The hotel 's lobby is under renovate. Hotel had informed in advance. When we arrived, It didn't bother us at all. Breakfast is great. Room is just renovated, look so new and smell good. Very cheerful front desk, Thank you so much!

The room layout was very nice, it is rare that you would have a wet bar and a bathroom sink. I also enjoyed having a sectional couch to lounge on or have guest sit on separate from the bed.

They had a ok breakfast setup but limited options, and half the time we were there it was half available, I think it was maybe because of damage a guest did. Not that roomy when your trying to get your breakfast or coffee for the size of the hotel but barrable.

Room was very large. When our first room smelled like cigarette smoke, they immediately accommodated our request for a new room. They also gave us a quiet room, which we had requested.

Air conditioner was hard to manage—it sort of came out in an arctic blast. The breakfast was not very appealing…but yes, it was free.

The location to Annapolis and the shopping district is excellent!

Door locks operated very weirdly. They should just invest in all new locks. Also virtually no desirable outdoor patio space.
