TownePlace Suites Bowie Town Center

This is a very nice hotel. It is clean and well located- it's only a 25 minute drive to the heart of the tourist attractions in DC. There is a large outdoor shopping center next to it, so you can walk to a bunch of restaurants & shops and you can walk to a free EV charger. The property has some nice landscaping. We stayed here while visiting DC and we were glad we did. The bed was very comfy. It's also great to have the full size fridge.

The free breakfast wasn't that great- they could have more selection.

I really liked the room. Spacious and equipped with most of what one might need. Cheap laundry and a fitness room supplied with a good weight range dumbbells. Clean and respectable property.

The wi-fi was bad. At least in my room, the connection was extremely unstable and would disconnect repeatedly every few seconds. Practically unusable except in the bathroom where it sometimes worked well enough for extended periods of time but then would have the same problem as observed in every other part of the room.

Staff were friendly and accommodating from phone to face. Donna, William, Alexis (GM), and Sandy. Breakfast was really good, especially hot oatmeal, hot breakfast bagel, and hot mini cheese & veggie omelette. Nice variety of grab & go, or stay and eat.

Not enough luggage carts. We had to make two trips downstairs to get our belongings in the car. Parking spaces filled up at night The property could invest in some flat, cafeteria-style trays to carry breakfast to your suite. Also, breakfast could end at 10a, instead of 9a, so you don't have to rush before closing or clean-up. Really good breakfast.

The location and facility are both great. It's within walking distance of the Bowie Town Center. There's lots of storage. It's well thought out. There's also a full size ironing board, which makes a difference. Those things, and the hamper, are great for traveling families. There is also guest laundry available. The elevators are hidden and can only be accessed by a key. That adds a layer of security. The furniture was in good condition and it had a fully stocked kitchenette. Overall, it was a sweet suite.

There was a faint moldy smell one night in the bathroom. I believe it came from the rings that hold the towel bar. Luckily, it didn't last long. The bath soap was smaller than expected. It's probably an effort to go green. I imagine they have to discard a lot of partially used soap bars. It think it's best to travel with your own anyway.

Nice apt with kitchenette and lots of storage. great water pressure in shower. nice variety at breakfast.

Breakfast was hot and fresh! Bed and room:linens clean and fresh!

My flight into BWI was delayed so my arrival was around 11:45pm and I had to pay for a whole day when only stayed a few hours; my stay was for Fri-Sun.I arrived Fri night 11:45; maybe some compassion or discount.

The pool was enjoyable. My family and I had a good time. Although the room was very small the bed was comfortable and there's alot of shelves and closet space.

I wish the breakfast had vegan options or more variety. The hotel was kind of confusing to navigate with hallway doors being shut and unlabeled to get back to the lobby.

nice area and the hotel has everything you could need/want. the staff were wonderful, let me check out early with no charge and even gave me an extra half hour to pack up.

there were a few spots that weren’t cleaned well, but I’m a neat freak. the room was very small.

The clean room , and friendly staff. The only thing I didn’t like was the coffee pot needs to be updated !!!

Everything was just wonderful for my husband and me. Although we are still navigating through this COVID-19 pandemic, the amenities, services and level of comfort provide a warm escape.

We could use a few strips of turkey bacon with our breakfast bagel. Nothing major.
