What a fantastic hotel. Maureen (Mo) gave us a wonderful welcome and provided us with all the needed information on room, breakfast, wifi, nearby restaurants etc. Was amazed at the size of the room (especially compared to those we had stayed at during our previous trip to Manhattan). Beds were super comfortable, view from room was of the marina and bay & breakfast in the room was a nice touch. Location was on the marina front & everything in Boston is pretty much walkable so the location for us was fantastic. Maureen could not do enough for us and was a wonderful host. Lounge area was great with fantastic views of the harbour, coffee, tea making facilities and pool table. Hotel front door access in the evening was by room card but never felt uneasy about security or any areas in Boston at night. Overall a fantastic time!

Frankly nothing, if anything having to leave so soon after arriving!

Excellent location, a very short walk to North End (full of great Italian restaurants and freedom trail landmarks) and Faneuil Hall - and all the sights of Boston beyond which are walkable distance, or you can get the T which is a 6 minute walk away. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly (especially Mo and Joe), and the night staff were warm & welcoming on our return from evenings out. We had two rooms - my husband and I stayed in a Queen with balcony, and the children shared a 2 x Queen room with sofa, which was a great size space and gave us a lounge area to use as a family. It was a lovely surprise that breakfast was served in our rooms rather than a communal area, so it was like having room service, and everything was freshly cooked. Rooms were all exceptionally clean. Housekeeping left chocolates each night, there were "bedtime" cookies in the hallway for guests to help themselves, and juice or apples in the day. Great lounge area and complimentary refreshments, pool table and board games (although the rooms are so spacious you don't feel the need to escape to a larger space). Beach towels were provided for use on the lounger/chairs on the balcony. The interior was decorated in cool coastal colours which was calming and relaxing. All in all an excellent stay!

I cannot think of a singe thing that we did not like!

The hotel is beautifully furnished and the room was very comfortable and spacious. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large and the room came with nice touches: a bottle of wine, remote skylight blinds, a heated bathroom floor, a plate of cookies in the hall in the afternoon, a list of nearby recommended restaurants, breakfast delivered to the room each morning. We arrived by water taxi from the airport and a young man from the staff met us at the wharf and brought our bags up which was a nice touch. When we left on our final day before the regular breakfast time, the staff made sure to deliver cereal and fruit the night before. A member of the staff came to take our suitcases down the stairs on his day off as the elevator was out of service. The location is perfect for catching ferries to Salem and Nantucket as well as walking distance to several fantastic Italian restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was great!

We can honestly say with a big thumbs up Boston Yacht Haven exceeded our expectations. Firstly we were dropped off right to the door...almost... by the water taxi, from the airport shuttle bus. A member of staff (they're all great) was on hand to warmly greet us and assist with the (wife's) luggage which was a pleasant way to start our Boston adventure. Opening the door to our room was another welcome experience, a spacious room with a large bed, fantastic views from the windows and a sunny terrace overlooking the river with The Best 270 degree view in Boston. We had our lovely (vegan friendly) breakfast on the terrace each morning, but note that good weather is essential for this early morning activity. If you are sporty there is a small gym here and it is well enough equipped to get a proper workout done to keep you ticking over so you don't lose any hard earned gains during your stay, also the wharf is easy to navigate for a good run. They say that Boston is a walking City, we walked everywhere from here, even to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, it's miles away but loads of nice cafes and shops along the way. We did catch to train to Harvard, just saying, the guided tour was well worth it - And get a Duck tour in if you can, gets your bearings of where you are in the city and a fast-track Boston history education with a few old Dad jokes in there. Every evening we enjoyed (more) walking along the harbour and into town slightly as it was just such a pleasant thing to do. If you do fancy a nice meal out I would recommend a rooftop restaurant called Contessa on the other side of the Common, this was a good way to end our Boston trip.

The length of our stay - it was too short

The location was great, the room was fantastic, comfy bed and super clean. Cookies ( homemade) and apples out in the hallway for the rooms. A bottle of wine and biscotti in your room and delicious freshly cooked breakfast delivered to your room from a small pre order breakfast from. The 2 guys at reception were super helpful with an earlier check in, earlier breakfast and general things. A lounge with coffee and tea as well as facilities for this in your room. We loved it

The people coming back to their boats late at night from partying. Perhaps the Marina could ask the people on the boats staying at the Marina to be respectful of guest’s sleeping at the Inn at night. It didn’t last too long but woke us up a few times during the night as we slept with the windows open. I also had earplugs in as didn’t expect it to be super quiet but it still woke us up.

Stayed 6 nights. Our room overlooked the harbour so the view and sunshine in the morning whilst having breakfast was lovely. The choice for breakfast was good and always on time. The room was very spacious and comfy with lots of clothes drawer and storage which is unusual but welcome. Just a short walk to restaurants and the city so great location. Boston airport 15 minutes by cab, water taxi probably less. Corey and Maureen who looked after the front desk are so friendly and helpful, they just focused on making our stay special. If you can book this place while in Boston it is so worth it, you will not be disappointed.

Only problem may be the lack of parking directly outside, despite there being so many spaces only 5 are allocated to the hotel for guest use. We were fortunate the inn was quiet so were able to park our hire car for the one night we had it.

Boston Yacht Haven exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and updated, the bed was super comfortable, the bathroom had heated tiles, and the view was fantastic. The staff was the best we've ever encountered. They were friendly, hospitable, and gave wonderful recommendations. My husband ran the Boston Marathon and the team left celebratory champagne, delivered a special to-go breakfast the night before, and left a helpful facts sheet for him and the rest of our family to guide us on the day of. Speaking of breakfast, it was delicious and arrived promptly every morning with a smile. Our kids enjoyed the cookies every night. The location allowed us to walk to any restaurant in the North End within minutes for the best Italian fare. The facility had a wonderful recreation room where you could enjoy a glass of wine with a view, play pool, read a book, or enjoy a boardgame with your family. I cannot say enough great things. We will stay here again on our next trip to Boston.

From the moment we checked-in to the moment we checked-out, everything was perfect! The room was super spacious and very very comfortable with great views. Breakfast was excellent and sent to the room daily (you place the order via a chit and you hang it at your door the night before). The location couldn't be better and was just within walking distance to the piers and everywhere is literally within 15-25 minutes away at the furthest. The free bottle of wine and daily Ferrero Rocher were a nice touch! The best of all is the check-in staff, Maureen. She was a delight and very helpful with all our queries, and she provided great recommendations to the best eateries nearby. Will definitely come back and stay again if we're ever in Boston again.

Nothing! Everything was literally great!

The room was exceptional, as was the bed. Joe (reception) was particularly friendly and helpful. The views over the water from the lounge and room were wonderful. The hotel was within walking distance of many of the must see locations. We only once had to use Uber to get back. We were pleasantly surprised to have a complementary bottle of (good) Italian wine in our room along with bottles of water and plenty of capsules for the Keurig coffee maker. The rooms were obviously well insulated, as we heard almost nothing from the other guests, although the hotel was completely full. We will probably use this hotel again, next time are in Boston

The breakfast was not very nice. The hot items (quiche, English muffins) seemed to have been microwaved and pretty tasteless. The granola yogurt however saved the day! The area seems to be very nice, except for some sort of run down building opposite. The wharf buidlings have obviously been turned onto higher end condos, so this building didn't fit in at all.

What a gem of a hotel in a beautiful location over looking the harbour and the superyachts! Joe and staff were amazing - they really cared that our stay was perfect. We had a family group, so the Captain's Lounge was the perfect place to gather, play a little pool, watch the boats out on the river, and socialize before heading out to explore Boston. We were very sad to leave, they made it feel like a home-away-from-home. Would definitely stay here again!

No complaints at all! We had the perfect stay!
