Breakfast was not included, but it was excellent,as was everything at this hotel. At checkout I asked if they would call a cab to take us to the cruise terminal. An Uber arrived

The Hyatt Centric Faneuil Hall is a very nice hotel located in the downtown area of Boston. It was perfect for our stay to attend the Boston Marathon. The hotel’s location is close to bakeries/coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, drug stores, public transit stations and all the other amenities you’re likely to need during your stay. The hotel is also within easy walking distance to Boston Common, TD Gardens, Chinatown, the Italian restaurant district, the waterfront and many of the historical attractions. Check-in and check-out was painless and fast. Our deluxe double room was relatively spacious with a flat-screen TV, good Wi-Fi and 2 comfortable beds. We requested daily housekeeping and the housekeeping staff were friendly and did a very good job looking after our room.

If you want a refrigerator in your room you have to request it and they will bring one up. Unfortunately the one we got was too large to fit in the cabinet space where it normally would go so it sat out in the open taking up a bit of floor space in the room. Our deluxe room with 2 double beds did not have a full desk, only a small table which barely could accommodate my laptop. This makes it difficult to have a pizza or meal in your room.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. I love the location! It is close to pretty much everything. The hotel room was clean, the king sized bed was comfortable, the temperature of the room was comfortable, love how the shower was so powerful, love the bath robes. We requested daily housekeeping so we always come home to a clean room and new towels after a whole day of exploring. Love the little bar/restaurant inside the hotel. The hotel room was not big but it was not a dealbreaker. The hotel is pricey. but anywhere you stay in the heart of downtown will be expensive so that was expected. Overall the hotel was great! I’d stay here again :)

There was no refrigerator.

The hotel is in a very central location with many, many restaurants, bars and shops within a short walk and most of the city centre sites easily walkable in 15 to 20 minutes. The staff went above and beyond to help us during our stay, the hotel was spotlessly clean and we had room service on every day we requested it. Yes, some of the rooms are small but it tells you the size of the room on booking.com and you can always chose to pay a little more for a larger room as we did. Yes, its expensive, but its a good quality centrally located hotel in one of the worlds greatest cities. What do you expect? Yes,, there was construction work in the locality, but its a vibrant booming city making it well worth a visit so of course there is development work going on. If no one was building, it would suggest its not popular so again what do you expect?

I agree with other reviews on the provision of a cool drawer rather than a fridge and the shortage of cloth hangers which seems a bit miserly when considering the cost of the rooms but these are really minor points in what is a superbly located well run hotel.

You have to order the following at the hotel restaurant: Breakfast - slice of sourdough bread with spicy jam, avocado and arugula with two fried eggs on top. Lunch - the smash burger with limoncello cake - Dinner: Steak and frites was done to perfection. Site seeing started only three blocks away. We walked everywhere! Staff was helpful with everything we needed and even had a few suggestions for us.

My green mountain keurig pods didn't fit in the coffee machine in the room. Not crazy about the bathroom door. The clock in the room difficult to use - had wrong time and date on it which I was unable to change.

Great location in Boston. Surrounded by several coffee shops and healthy places to grab a quick lunch. Also plenty of parking nearby. Room and beds were comfortable but on the smaller side, which was ok for us. Entrance to hotel was on Devonshire - which is a one way street and was quieter than some of the surrounding streets. We were able to find reasonable overnight parking for our rental car within walking distance. We grabbed a quick bite one night at the attached restaurant. Food there was just ok. Lobby was a comfortable place to hang out in the morning and have a coffee - although the coffee bar in hotel didn't open to 7 am.

We skipped the valet parking which cost $57 per night and just parked in a 24 hour garage nearby for only $14. There was no real engagement by front desk staff members who we interacted with - so no real sense of a warm welcome or hospitality when we arrived or departed.

The location is perfection. I would definitely stay here again. I loved the location. So close to everything. The deluxe rooms are great! Love the set up and feels very roomy. The restaurant was very nice. Great staff and good food. Did not like that we had to wait for our room while lines of people were checked in in front of us. Really dislike that immensely.

Could have had more variety as far as restaurant choices or commissary type choices in the lobby. Again, the waiting for the room really bugged me. Ohhh and almost forgot! We called to ask to have two rooms on the same floor. Of course, not possible. All hotels really need to work on this. Accommodate your guests better!!

Location is very near to restos and popular places like Quincy Market, Old State House, etx

For international travellers like us who have several luggages as we go from one state to the other, it was very inconvenient for us because the hotel does not have any porter service who can assist us with the luggage. It has to be my husband who will have to carry all those heavy luggages. At some point, my husband has to even help out a lady with 2 kids so their luggage cart can fit in the hotel’s elevator. We were really quite surprised as our 2 other hotels prior to this (in NYC and New Haven, CT) had porter service. Hyatt Centric Boston should rethink this.

Fantastic staff. Front desk, cleaners and at the restaurant. The lobby is big and has enough space, especially to work in the lobby. Lots of working desks, but also nice relaxing chairs.

There is a little coffee bar that closes early in the day. There are some pastries for sale, but no oven to warm it up. A grill instead. So your croissant end up being very flat and still a bit stale. The restaurant which has very nice food doesn't serve coffee, even when the coffee bar is closed. Which is very unfortunate if you are working in the lobby next to the restaurant. You have to ran outside to find coffee (or tea) somewhere. That is if you have checked-out or don't want to go up to your room to get a coffee there. The fridge that is being advertised is NOT a fridge. The message just before arrival tells you it is a cold storage drawer. Well it wasn't even cold. You can hear when the neighbours open or close their doors. Fortunately that didn't happen in the middle of the night.
