This place was such a pleasant surprise!! First of all, I came in around 11:30 from mackinaw and didn’t know the front office closed, had no service driving over, and Kristen called and left me a voicemail explaining she’d leave the keys in my room. Thank goodness- thank you Kristen! Also, the room itself is just so cute and SUPER clean- probably one of the, if not, the cleanest room and motel I’ve stayed in recently. You can tell the owner not only runs the motel but really takes PRIDE in it. The staff the next morning, even gave me some suggestions of where to go- Little Girl’s Point is a must see. Honestly just a really wonderful experience at this motel. Hope to be back in the future!
My ONLY suggestion is to upgrade the mattresses but I still enjoyed a perfectly restful sleep! 💕

We loved the retro vibe of this motel. It was great for a trip through the UP. Super clean! Staff very friendly and helpful with recommendations in town. Room had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and decent sized TV.
No ice or breakfast but we knew that before booking so not a big deal.

Very cozy, comfortable and homey rooms. Beautiful motel!! Easy access, beds are comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. I love the old style/retro look and the ladies in the office are wonderful! So very nice to chat with them. Learned a little about the motel. Great hospitality and accommodating as well. Look forward to coming back here again soon.

We had a 2 room suite (room 11). There was very little airflow through there so the room got rather warm

Very comfortable beds!! Seemed new. Our room #18 seemed recently painted and smelled so new and clean. Large room. It was quiet after dark.

issue is with wi-fi. Most of the time connection is slow and bumpy ..may be this issue is with those days ...but if provide good wifi then it will great.
