Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was simple and fridge was unexpectedly a nice size. Dog-friendly area with bags for easy cleanup. Even though the room was not up-to-date, it did what we needed: provided a less expensive way to explore the Porcupine Mountains. I suggest bringing your own bedding and towels/wash cloths. We did, and I was grateful to have thought ahead.

Room could use some work in the bathroom. The door wouldn't close all the way, and then it stuck. We had to use our full body weight to get it open even though it wasn't closed fully. We woke each other up and startled each other after each bathroom use. The bottom of the shower looks like it's rotting, maybe even moldy (but I didn't scrape at it to find out).

The price was right for Timberline Lodge - just needed an affordable bed to sleep on, a roof over our heads, and a hot shower after a long day of adventure. Jennifer, the owner, went above and beyond, and we are beyond grateful for her kindness and local adventure suggestions :)

Although we didn't expect to watch any TV, we did end up watching the Packers game (Hulu Live was provided with our stay), but the TV speaker had a mind of its own and stopped working every so often. The visitors next to us on our last night were a bit rowdy around 3 A.M, otherwise no issues!

The manager was very pleasant and helpful. Lovely shower; good TV; very good location

the breakfast was not served at 6:30 as indicated, so we lost out on that. The room was good; the motel is well used and could use some additional maintenance.

The bathroom wasn't totally cleaned! But we got in there kinda late so we were just tired and happy to have a comfortable bed! And the lady came and cleaned the bathroom the next morning and apologized!

The staff was friendly and the room was pretty good. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Easy to get in and out of my room. Very nice and simple checkout with zero hassle.

The Wi-Fi signal was pretty weak, which would have been alright but I needed to use the Wi-Fi to watch tv. A stronger Wi-Fi signal to accommodate all the guests watching tv would probably be a good idea in the future.

Loved the owner, Jennifer, awesome personality, with alot on their hands for being an owner for only 2 months after if was shut down for 8 yrs! I will visit again and longer, she gave me awesome tips on a great place for dinner and to get to a secluded spot on lake superior for rock hunting.

We were so late getting in - it was one of those days. Staff was kind, understanding, and let us check in at a ridiculous hour.

Location was great. Staff was very friendly. And I got to pet the puppies. :)

No blankets in the room. Only a sheet on the bed under the comforter (Which I was always told not to use as a blanket, yuck!)

Hot shower, close to stores for food, clean mini fridge and microwave. Excellent customer service. Clean sheets and enough soaps, towels for our family. Help was available all hours and they were actually dog friendly. They have a dog as well! We felt very welcome. Everything was functional and ready for use. There were no problems. We would stay here again and plan to stay here ahead of time for sure. This was the saving grace for our rough camping trip where we forgot a bunch of stuff, didn't sleep, and a major storm was expected(on a holiday weekend). The kids loved the Hulu and bouncy beds.

The beds were awesome, pillow top , I have a hard time sleeping, The two nights we stayed slepted great. Also on our way home , Jennifer called I had left a bag of laundry, and they sent it to me. I would recommend them to anyone😊👍
