Days Inn by Wyndham Hurley

The hotel is super comfy, roomy and new, in great shape, the inconveniences were very minor. The staff is great and very nice. For breakfast there is a bag that you choose from a menu, that includes microwave cheese omelette, strawberry boli, bagel and some cinnamon or kemon cakes, etc. Its fine for a bag breakfast. The pool has capacity of 24 and hot tub 2-5 but works great. Its a nice stay. It is in the middle of a country road off the local highway so easy to access.

No wifi working. The hotel was converted from Smoking, so halls have a residual ash scent. You may need to air out the room first. The hot water is set to stop at halfway open, so it takes a long time to heat up. These are minor.

Very clean. Excellent breakfast especially the scrambled eggs. Lovely indoor pool. They had a 45 min water aerobics class open to the community in the early morning. So nice to see them servicing the community in addition to the hotel guests.

Exceptional service from all staff I encountered. Friendly, and a real sense of pride in what they were doing. We were able to check-in early without asking, which enabled me to keep my belongings "warm" since it was -15 outside.

Different curtains. Typical of many hotels, the heating/cooling unit is below the window. When the system runs, it pushes the curtains away from the window and blows the air behind the curtains. Sure, you can jam a pillow between the bed and the unit to solve the problem, but a little more thought by getting heavier curtains (bottom) would prevent the issue.

Close to the highways and attractions we wanted to visit. Good value for what was charged.

Breakfast area was a bit crowded, (because the breakfast offerings were good) but the second day we used the auxiliary dining room.

The rooms were as expected from a Days inn. The pool was really nice though! We didn't end up using it, but it looked very nice. They also offer food and alcoholic drinks to order at the front desk which was a surprise. Breakfast was COVID order style, but was perfect. Thank you!

Room was a little smelly like someone had smoked in it a while ago. Only I noticed it, but not my wife.

The room was located on the end near a door which was important as my mom has mobility issues - as well as my dog being old. Stairs are not an option - so the accommodation was great.

No coffee available in the lobby was a little disappointing - as the in room coffee is lacking. Also, I saw no staff wearing masks , which concerned me, even though signs were posted to do so.

We were road-weary and the weather wasn't great and we needed a place to stay as we were passing through. This was one of the nicer Days Inn we have stayed at. We were a late-arrival and the man at the desk was very kind and helpful.

Breakfast was good coffee was good but weak pool and hot tub were awesome so was staff , sawnuh didnt work. Dogs loved it thanks so much for being a facility that allows them! 😀

The chlorine in the pool was extremely strong. I couldn’t stay in the pool area over 30 minutes for my eyes burning.

We liked the amenities with the hot tub and sauna. The rooms were nice and staff were great.

We would have preferred a hot breakfast and fewer "non-guests" using the hot tub and sauna. There were a lot of community members using the facilities, so it makes it a bit crowded.
