Baymont by Wyndham Traverse City

The staff were incredibly nice! and there’s even places that will deliver straight to your room along with it being so easy to go somewhere because it’s located next to anything you’d ever need!

You could tell it didn’t get much attention during its last cleaning, there were crumbs and an empty fireball bottle along with the bottom of the shower being dirty.

Good variety for breakfast. I like fresh fruit was available. I requested a first floor room and was assigned one close to the entrance. It was perfect. Staff was very accommodating. They probably were overworked but still very attentive.

Our room was great. Would ask for it again. The couch, chair & bed were comfortable. Everything was clean.

Needed more tables in the breakfast area. Even if just folding tables & chairs for when it is busier. Or TV trays for the couches. Also the hot tub was wonderful. Loved the depth, size and temperature. But I have never seen a ladder to get in & out. Should really be more like steps....so maybe a ladder that is on an angle?

Comfortable bed - loved that there were extra pillows and that they were not flat or lumpy!! Beds were nice and firm - and high - easy for us Seniors to get out of. The desk staff was friendly & helpful and met my request for a ground floor room - close to the entrance due to the fact that we have trouble walking long distances. Each time we came back to the room we were able to get a close parking spot, even though we forgot to bring the handicap placard for the car - still found regular spots close enough. Nice variety served at breakfast - and the 24 hour coffee/tea station was always stocked and ready. Room was nice and clean, and the shower had great water pressure.

Really had no complaints - we were only in the area for 2 nights this time. The hallway carpeting does look like it needs a good cleaning - but we understand that there is a lot of foot traffic through there and probably a lot of people spilling their coffee while carrying it back to their rooms!

easy to find, well maintained outside and inside

the trip was a gift from our kids for our 10th anniversary and our daughter had called to prepay and make sure everything was taken care of for us. At check in, the man at the front desk argued back and forth with us several times and was demanding we needed to pay bc nothing was done yet. it obviously finally got resolved but did not appreciate the lack of communication and rudeness of the gentleman at the desk

Pool area and hot tub very clean. The breakfast had a good variety with so many changes because of COVID the last year. The king sized bed was quite comfortable. All in all a great stay.

Not a whole lot negative to say. It is a older hotel so could use some updating for example the hallway carpeting but those things as far as I am concerned are just wear and tear of a place. I have never been disappointed going this particular location.

Carpet in hallways was rough, dingy and faded. I read negative comments about the cleanliness of this location, but didn't see that on my stay. Thermostat in room 333 did not seem to be functioning. Tried changing the temperature, but it stayed the same.

The carpet in the elevator was very dirty and needs replacing along with the hallway carpet on 2nd floor.... eye appeal is very important and it worried me that my room was going to be dirty, but thank goodness it was clean and looked updated.

They gave me a better room ok m at same rate.

The first room key card I used already had a couple in the room when I opened the door.
