Sleep Inn & Suites Acme – Traverse City

Easy check in and check out. We made a same day reservation and still got a great room rate. We were so surprised with the wonderful hot breakfast! It was so good. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. We will definitely stay again. The location is great. Easy to find and get to. Beautiful sunset view of the East Bay and they provide the chairs on the lawn for you to sit and enjoy. Close to several restaurants, beaches, parks, shopping and activities. Can't wait to go North again!!

My cousin and I traveled to the UP with my little Jack Russell for a week and stopped in Traverse City on the way home. This was by far the nicest hotel room of our vacation. The room was exceptional, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The view over the lake is unsurpassed and we enjoyed both a spectacular sunset and Harvest moon rise from the Adirondack chairs out in front. Our only regret was not staying an additional night to enjoy all the scenic drives near the hotel.

There were no negatives during our stay. The location and cleanliness were perfect, no complaints. Even with the road construction during our visit, access to hotel was easy in and easy out.

The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, answered all my questions and I appreciate her kindness. This position makes the first impression and I was pleased right from check in.

Breakfast, BOO! Yes, it was included in our stay, HOWEVER, the food was "eh". Biscuits not warm, gravy was luke warm. Room was full of guests & think we all had the same feeling. One man requested his food be warmed up, was explained the MICROWAVE was in use for warming up breakfast items, so when it was open the young man assisted the request. Need a better game plan than a microwave and not so tasty food. Best part was bacon and it "okay" was super thin. Idk needs an upgrade. I'd rather have fewer items but better quality.

The value I got for my stay was phenomenal. The receptionist when we arrived was very sweet and told us about a yummy restaurant near by, which was so delicious. I loved having access to the pool 24 hours a day. Also the 24 hour coffee bar was delightful. My room was nice, very clean. I’d definitely recommend anyone(on a budget or not) to try it out. Plus the view was amazing!

The breakfast was cold and frankly not that good, but hey it was included nothing to complain about, saved me $30 eating breakfast.

The TART trail is directly behind the motel. It's a fabulous place to walk, bike, roller blade, get out. It is the eastern terminus of over 30 miles of beauty skirting the bays of Traverse. It was perfect for walking with my traveling dog...

The property is beginning to show some wear. Parking in front was a cluster, but the back lot nearly empty (seriously closer to the rooms). Guess where I parked... After some jacko in a 3500 p/u truck parked so close I couldn't even get into my driver's side. PEEPLE can be such......

Our stay at Sleep Inn in Acme near Traverse City was very nice. The room was exceptionally pretty, the bed and linens comfortable and the shower was particularly nice - large, great pressure. I would highly recommend. They provide a basic breakfast - eggs, coffee, bacon, sausage, muffins, etc. however we did not eat there.

There was nothing negative to say about this hotel, however I thought it was over-priced for the time of year. I booked the room but my husband checked us in - I appreciated I did not have to be there at check-in.

ground floor as requested, breakfast ready early,comfortable room, Great towels convenient location. Away from the pool, but children upstairs jumping.

There appears to be mold around the shower door outside, water will leak around thedoor if directed that way behind the toilet needs some attention as well.

Loved the pool, hot tub was such a fun experience, great breakfast, and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was courteous and kind, immediately assisting when they could and the process was very easy.

Only two things: the room could have done with more cleaning since there were cob webs over one of the beds on and stains on the bed towards the side not where you sleep and throughout the room.

The Price was right, the amenities were outstanding, the ability to have access to washer and dryer, exercise equipment, breakfast in the morning, and such an accommodating staff. I cannot remember the gentleman’s name, but he was there all weekend 10/15 - 10/18. If he’s not management yet, he sure needs to be.

I can’t really say I had any complaints. I’ve been to some 5star hotels that didn’t even have a fridge or microwave and wanted you to buy their overpriced food. The bathroom/shower could be bigger, but definitely NOT anything that would keep me from staying there again.

Layout of room, design and surfaces. Not a fan of carpet. Nice shower, grab bar for assistance if needed. The breakfast buffet was great, had something for everyone, very nice.

Rooms could stand better sound proofing.
