Hyatt Place Columbus

The staff was amazing! Jerome, the Asst. Manager, Ariana and Angel, at the front desk, Kimberly, in the kitchen & food service area, Emmanuel, in maintenance, and all other staff who I can't name, were amazing. All were very professional, friendly, accommodating, and never hesitated to exceed our expectations.

The bathroom in our room needs work. The shower tile was corroded, poorly done, and certainly not to the standard that I'd expect for the Hyatt.

I've stayed at this location multiple times, but this was my first time since Covid restrictions have been lifted. Breakfast was good, but busy. I don't know if the staff is prepared for the weekend rush, but they did a good job of trying to keep things moving and breakfast stocked.

Parking is always a bit much. People make their own parking spots which are sometimes in the way as you are looking for an actual parking spot.

Upon entering the Hotel the first thing I saw was how very clean & nice everything looked. Ou room was spacious & the bathroom was big, loved the shower head! The bed was comfortable. It had rained a lot & the Wifi wasn’t working on the 3rd floor, but it working in the Lobby. It was ok though, we was tired & went to sleep. The Desk Clerk was awesome! So nice & courteous.

The staff was nice very friendly. The hotel is in a good place. Good location. I miss breakfast but I bet it was good also.

The floor need vacuum. I had a problem with the tight space for the toilet. Im plus size and the sink could have been a little smaller so you can have space. The shower needs work. It may have been clean bit did not look like it. The chair in the room keep it without handles better for everyone..

Our tub water control nozzle wasn't functioning correctly. We had to work with it for several minutes each bath to get the water temp right and when cutting it off

The housekeeper Tenika Was absolutely wonderful! She gave my family and I a sweet southern much needed welcome at our time of need. Our stay was because we evacuated because of Hurricane Ida. I really enjoy the whole experience. The night auditor was also amazing. Even the maintenance man made sure everything was working well while swimming in the pool! Just an overall good experience! Definitely will book again in the future

I honestly could say the only thing could have been better was the morning breakfast. It was very limited because of COVID-19, but I do understand.

Breakfast was exceptional and hot. Staff was very nice and friendly. The area in and around the hotel was nice and I always felt safe. The lobby was spacious and the breakfast eating area was large and kept clean.

Ice machine on 3rd floor where we stayed was broken. Put a sign up telling us where the next closest working ice machine was. (Floor and location- 2nd floor by elevators, for example).

Our door lock battery died with our dog in the room. We had to get front desk to open. They changed the battery but it didn’t fix the problem. They offered another room but we were staying in for the rest of the night. It was a little awkward getting to go to breakfast since someone had to stay in the room. While a little inconvenient, it would not keep us from staying here on our next visit to Columbus.

Breakfast was okay. Although it could've been better! Limit choices on Thursday morning, no waffle iron, UNACCEPTABLE..After eating breakfast the first morning of our stay, we decided to eat out during the duration of our stay!

The only thing I didn’t like it was a struggle to get fresh towels everyday. We did get them but because the hotel was so full they didn’t have the adequate amount of towels for the guest
