Sleep Inn St. Robert-Fort Leonard Wood

Newer facility, easy access from the highway, pet friendly, great value for a way station on our cross country trip. Parking lot was well lit so was comfortable leaving luggage in car overnight. Fact that it's near an Army base probably helps. Lots of food options in less than 10 minute drive.

We had a 2 "queen" room and it was cozy for two people and a small dog. I can't imagine 4 people in there unless it's just to sleep. Free breakfast was standard - only complaint would be kids walking around putting their hands on everything which is on the parents vs. the hotel management.

Everything was good it was our second time staying there we liked it the first time we stayed and when we had to come back we decided to stay at same motel

The room we had the shower had soap scum buildup on shower head and the floor of shower then around bottom of shower where the wall meets the floor of shower you could see mold/mildew buildup and the room didn’t seem to cool down that good and we even had the air on 60 same thing when we stayed the first time with the air

The elevator did not work, but the manager apologized and explained that she had done everything she could to fix it. This did not bother us. We were fine with using the stairs. Her explanation was a typical story of how hard it is to get repairs for anything now days. She offered help caring bags or anything else we might need. That was not necessary, but the offer was appreciated. The beds were really comfortable. They were as good as our really expensive beds at home. I sleep really well. The rooms were also quiet. We could not hear any noise from any other rooms.

The location is good. The facilities and my room clean. Plenty of parking

Breakfast bar was not maintain during the serving time upon my for eating. Juice/ coffee was out and sausage was cold. And the scrambled eggs was NOT FRESHLY cooked. I would add that this facility needs to have gravy added to the breakfast menu during the week days as well. PLEASE NOTE> The on sight manager did arrive and spruce of up the breakfast bar by adding fresh coffee and Juice to the dispenser. Breakfast bar must and maintain freshness of hot foods and should NEVER run out coffee and orange juice.

Bed was very comfortable, breakfast included fresh fruit (bananas), hot coffee is always available. Staff was helpful and kind.

There isn't much to not like. The hotel met all my needs for Accessibility. It is a basic hotel with no pool but did have a nice exercise room and guest laundry area.

The room was very small but adequate. Clean! Housekeeping was overloaded, tho, and when we asked for our room to be cleaned, they couldn’t do it. (Understaffed, like everyplace else). Breakfast was good — eggs and meat every day, along with toast, waffle maker, yogurt, sweet rolls, and fresh fruit. Staff was really great.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. The staff and owner was very nice, accommodating, friendly and informative. I would go back there again!

I would like to have more of a selection for breakfast like grits, biscuits

I stay in St. Roberts twice a year. I have stayed at almost every hotel and definitely have my favorite 2. I now have my favorite 3 with Sleep Inn being one of them. Our cat was diagnosed with diabetes this year and had to travel with me, the fact that Sleep Inn is pet friendly yet still sparkling clean amazed me.

I loved the location as it was on the opposite side of the road from the masses.

Very clean, modern and cosy hotel seating on historical route 66 , in the heart of the area encompassing many attractions not far away in all directions from the place. Onondaga and Hahatonka state parks, North-Western district of Mark Twain National forest, military museums, etc... Comfortable and nice room, with a cot made out of windowsill and extra light above it. Pet fee was 15$/night, and they are OK with cats!

Breakfast was "grab-and-go" only, and although it contained big muffin and biscuit with egg, cheese and sausage, I would say it might looked OK several months ago, but now with mask mandate lifted one may expect real continental breakfast to return. Maybe it will be back soon

Very clean and good breakfast

Smallest room we have ever stayed in, very noisy, could here everything coming from next room. I had to fix the toilet it would not flush. Flushing arm and chain were rusted and falling apart, but I rigged it to work and we did not complain.
