Doubletree By Hilton Helena Downtown

After I checked out early in the morning and was at the Airport I realized that I had left my rings in the room. I called back to the hotel and Shawn, the front desk gentlemen that checked me out, put me on hold and went to my room to check. Sure enough...I left not only my rings but my earrings and lighter. He was kind enough to drive to the airport in his own vehicle and delivery everything to me. This is more then I could have ever expected. Please make sure Shawn is rewarded for taking that extra step to make sure a customer was happy. I am extremely grateful for SHawn!

Right beside the Main Street

The gentlemen on reception, when we walked in looked at us like we were inconveniencing him, he walked out of the office...didn't say anything to us...so I said "we'd like to check in" and he just said "ok?" and then silence, so I said "what do we need to do to check in?" then he decided to help us with some humming and yawing. Not really what you expect when checking into a Hilton Hotel.

Karalee Fleming made my stay the best. I came to Helena to take a exam on the 26th and after I checked into my room. The room next to mine had a dog that barked nonstop. Karalee was able to move me to another room so I could have a good night sleep. Thank you Karalee. You are the best.

The breakfast closed at 0930 am.

shampoos and soaps in room were luxury grade, not cheap. nice towels. coffee station, microwave, fridge was nice to have. cookies on arrival was nice. there IS a shuttle to airport available and getting late check was a plus!

Kleenex and TP in room is lower quality stiff/scratchy. No free breakfast, $13.95 buffet no pen/note pad in room.

I liked the downtown location

The entrance is poorly marked and the entrance looked so little like an entrance that I thought it was the back of the building. There is no front desk as you enter the door - you turn a corner to find it.

Many hotels offer a complimentary, if poor, breakfast. I was unwilling to front $13 per person to find out what was in the breakfast buffet.

I would have liked to been informed that housekeeping was available only upon request in a more prominent way. This was not mentioned at booking, at check-in or by a sign in the room. I found out -- too late -- in the third paragraph of a sign in the elevator.

Great location in Last Chance Gulch with comfortable beds and excellent updates to the rooms and common areas (I’ve stayed here many times in the last 30 years).

Even on the 7th floor the room was very noisy until 2am with the noise coming from the streets outside and possibly the strolling areas in the Gulch. it was a Saturday night and I guess there are more bars than I thought in this area.

First, let me say that I believe that the Doubletree By Hilton Helena Downtown was very COVID-19 safe. Sticker on my door indicated that the staff cleaned my room and the building thoroughly using Lysol-brand products. Plenty of hand sanitizer stations throughout the building. All staff members wore masks. Location was very convenient for my weekend in Helena. Room was large and comfortable. Well-stocked with amenities. Beds were comfortable.

A little noisy at night. The large sliding window was closed, but noisy bars in neighborhood were noticeable--used the earplugs I had brought along.

The hotel released me from my reservation with full refund but you havented returned any of my money yet Plrasr tell me when or what will happen soon.

Shawn was SO sweet and empathatic as we came in totally exhausted! Monica was so friendly! Best night sleep we had in a while....wanted to keep the pillows!
