North Platte Inn and Suites

The man at the desk was very polite and made me feel super welcome. The hotel was good for the price that was paid and helped us get some rest after a long day of traveling. It was also clean. We would stay again if we are ever in the area again. It also near a couple of gas stations and places to grab something quick to eat.

When we got there around midnight, in the parking lot across the street, there was a car/motorcycle meetup happening with lots of engine revving. Thankfully, they left around 30 mins later, but if we had been sleeping prior to this, I'm sure it would've woken us up. The pillows are also super thin, but thankfully, the bed itself is comfortable.

There was no breakfast provided. The office staff was very friendly and gave us a great recommendation for a local Chinese food restaurant. That was a BIG help since we knew nothing about the establishments in town.

The coffee in the office lobby was lukewarm. We decided to go across the street to the McDonalds where they always have hot coffee and several good breakfast deals. I don't remember if breakfast was on the reservation information so that was not a big expectation.

I stayed 2 nights at the Hotel from Hell in Lakewood, Colorado booked by booking.com, a disaster dump that I would rate a 1 on a scale of 1-100 and would literally rate the North Platte Inn as a 100, cleanest hotel/motel I can remember ever staying at. I broke down in North Platte on Friday and the car was in the shop being repaired, which is why we stayed at the North Platte Inn and stayed a 2nd night waiting for it to be fixed, BTW it is still in the shop, bought a car from the owner of the shop to go home with and will most likely have to go back to North Platte to get my car. Will gladly stay at the North Platte Inn again. Great Property.

I can't think of anything bad about this property at all.

No longer have a breakfast due to Covid, but have fresh great donuts, Glazed, Frosted, etc. . More than satisfactory with coffee. Very friendly staff including the cleaning staff. Excellent hotel. Had to stay for a second night due to car repairs and came back here.

I have no idea what anyone else could expect while traveling. I am completely satisfied and if ever I travel this way again will definitely stay here.

Went to two concerts and the hotel told us about the North Platte community bus shuttle! It was wonderful and made our experience even better. My only recommendation for North Platte is you need some different restaurants like Olive Garden, steak house, red lobster. Too many pizza and Mexican places. Needs some variety!

Need some different choices for food.

Our stay was great! They are going out of their way to make sure people enjoy their stay. They are upgrading and it felt very good for the price we paid. There just wasn’t any breakfast this time. Not sure why.

Even though it felt quite clean, the floor was a little sticky and an open pop was in the fridge. Perhaps the pop was the sticky on the floor. There were about five spots and not overally sticky, just made us wonder if floor had been cleaned even though it looked fairly clean. *We really did like our stay and the price!

The location with all of the restaurants and other facilities around were excellent. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious.

Just a couple quick things. If the washers and dryers in your on-site laundry is out, you should tell us at check in. We really needed to do laundry and we ended up having to drive over to a laundromat because you did not tell us before hand. Honesty is best. Also, and I can’t stress this enough, you need to have a proper guide for your television. We could not figure out where any channels were. Other places we stayed have a laminated one printed out in the room. Maybe do likewise.

Great location, plenty of eating places within walking distance, beds and pillows were comfortable, nice big rooms! Location is pretty quiet considering I-80 is right there and lots of street traffic. We were traveling by motorcycle and the front desk let us park under the upstairs walkway during a rainstorm!

Nothing bad to say!

Comfortable room, quiet stay which is important to me. Good privacy (also very important to me). It was better than it looks. The room was cute and comfortable. However this area of Nebraska is a little odd in their culture. I found this out from staying longer in another town nearby. So for passing through, this was very good.

At first I needed a lower level room, and they would not give me one except if they charged me more. I have a disability so in effect they were charging me more money for having a disability (which I found appalling). I worked with Booking.com and did stay there (I also wanted to cancel). While I still do not feel they handled my situation right, it did turn out pretty good. The room was really comfortable and had a nice full fridge and a stove top for cooking as well So in the end it did work out and I ended up pleased with the treatment I had too. I would recommend it but I would say they are not much open to changes if you need them.

There was no breakfast but that’s ok I don’t eat breakfast anyway. There was a small kitchenette in my room with a large refrigerator. If I would have been staying several nights that would have been handy.

The sink drain stopper had come unfastened from the control plunger . Easy fix and I would have done it myself If iwould have stayed longer
