Ramada by Wyndham North Platte

Large comfortable room. Included cable TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, king bed, plus other things I didn’t use.

This is an older facility that was once a show piece but now needs professional maintenance and general freshing-up. The maintenance that was attempted appears to have been done by unskilled people. I was there for 3 nights and the cleaning staff never came into my room to empty my trash or refill my coffee supply. When I asked for more coffee, they acted like they couldn’t understand English, but I did get more coffee when I asked at the front desk.

The rooms remodeled are so much better. The floor is pretty and well taken care of. The bathroom and lighting is pretty. The breakfast was awesome, well stocked and tended to.

In our room most of the fixtures had dust. I also think if you would take the time to pull/hide cords like the cable box to the tv would make the room look just that much more taken care of.

Due to the extremely cold weather, the manager upgraded us to an inner suite with minimal additional cost. It was spacious and comfortable and pet friendly. Also love the food at the Canteen restaurant and very friendly personnel. Nice person at breakfast as well. Nice breakfast!

We had some trouble with the heating in the morning and the heating system was not really familiar to us. We would have appreciated an owner’s manual or at least a How to Operate guide. The manager was very nice and even offered to move us but we were leaving by 9:30 anyway.

The bed is comfortable, with plenty of pillows. The room has plenty of electrical outlets with usb ports for recharging phones. The breakfast offers ordinary freshly cooked food. The price is more economical than the others at that exit. As a place to stay on a road trip, it serves the purpose.

The lighting is dim making it difficult to read. The HVAC systems works well, keeping the room cool, but it is very loud.

We wanted a recommendation for a good steak, which was the restaurant at the Ramada, but it was closed down due to a wedding. We were so pleasantly surprised that 5 minutes after arriving to our room two steak dinners showed up unexpected. Sounds like it came from the wedding, but it sure made our day. The food was great!!!

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner and needs some updating. Other than that the room was good.

The property was expansive and beautifully appointed, beautifully maintained. Yes, it was comfortable.

Someone responsible for using white paint in the bathroom of suite 131 was careless. This can be cleaned up. Paint spatters on the floor and the shower wall should be removed. actually, for as nice as everything else was, is it possible for a bathtub replacement?

Expansive lobby area with nice little store. Large field behind property where I was able to play ball with my dog. walked to Sonic doe my dinner. room was very comfortable. no road noise.

Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. outside room was a little noisy. But after 9:00 things were very quiet.

Service was great. They were very busy because of the storm but they treated every guest respectfully and were even able to change my first floor outside room to a better room in the inside courtyard.

The gym is not the greatest. Only three machines and these were pretty outdated.

BREAKFAST! Buffet style, surprising and very good. Huge room (ADA), didn't request it, must be why it was so cheap. Staff added my points to rewards account at checkout, since I forgot to at booking.

We were put in an ADA room (not sure why), which was ok, but over-powering perfume scent, very dirty, in fact, filthy laminate floor and shower was in need of repair. I literally had to wash my bare feet before climbing into bed! A/C was LOUD, too. These things are not deal breakers, just need fixed. Overall, nice place to stay.

Room was beautiful, price was great.

The heater in the room near the refrigerator made a noise so we had to close the doors between the rooms to muffle the sound and the TV in the same room wouldn't turn off completely. Something bit my toe and left a blister in middle of the night, not sure what it was. The shower also didn't drain well.
