Ramada by Wyndham Ely

Very comfortable hotel for a short stop over on a long drive. The non-smoking rooms are across the street from the main hotel and are outside access rooms. The beds are SO comfortable with 4 pillows/ queen bed. All very soft with very nice bedding. The towels were also some of the softest I've ever had in a hotel. Also considering the hotel in on the highway it was very quiet with great black out curtains to block street lights. The water pressure was great but the hottest water pressure could have been hotter. Decent breakfast bag of a breakfast sandwich, granola bar, yogurt, and orange juice. Intriguing pool that is literally in the casino area. I didn't try it out but it felt very Nevada.

Everything was great but the carpets in the room were a little old and grungy feeling. The place feels a little dated as you walk in but again- so comfortable.

clean, excellent-excellent staff from the front desk to the cleanliness of the facilities! loved that they still abide by the old days of going above and beyond, they included 2 bottles of water, cookies, mints, coffee, tea, a place to order a great local burger, and a free breakfast and coffee, The bed was very comfortable.

There is always room for improvement so if I were to be nit picky, I would say: the heater, refrigerator, and toilet was a bit loud, wish there was a way to muffle the sound. The plumbing may need to be cleaned out given it seemed to plug up a bit. with that said, I would stay again 100% and for what you get, you cannot beat the price and quality, so I look to be a repeat customer if passing through again.

Convenient to what we needed. Beds were comfortable, bedding was soft & everything was clean.

In the 3 days we stayed our room was not serviced by housekeeping. Had to call and ask for clean towels. When we checked in there was only a partial roll & 1 additional roll of toilet paper so we were totally out before we checked out. Parking was sparse. Had to park across the street from our unit in the rain as no space was available to park twice.

The inside of the facility was a pleasant surprise with the pool and the jacuzzi lit up and bubbling, it was very inviting. The room was furnished very well . Water in the fridge ! The bed and pillows were great ! Tv worked well, the commode was a little tight with the tp holder sticking into me . The heater in the bath was loud but very appreciated. I called my son and a friend to tell them what a nice place it was to stay. , I would go back ! The greeter at the desk was wonderful, patient and welcoming, again a surprise in this age of cell phones, iPods etc.

Front counter staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very nicely laid out, clean and the bed was very comfortable. We ate at Smashburger - it was awesome! We liked the availability of coffee 24/7 and the "to go" bagged breakfast was handy on the road...the breakfast sandwich was actually very good (even though we didn't heat them before we left).

The temperature in the main lobby area was a little warm; made it kind of uncomfortable to play the slot machines (but I assume it had to be kept warm because of the pool location). Sad to say on our return trip through Ely, wanted to dine at Smashburger and was closed down :-(

Happy staff! A sign of good management! Indoor pool watching snow falling outside! All warm and cozy.

I missed the pre-Covid breakfast! We have stayed at this Resort for a few years, They still offer a surprise bagged breakfast at front desk, which is very nice! Breakfast sandwich, juice and snack. Hoping they can find staff to bring this back, yet understanding good help in a small town is hard to find.

Location was great, room was good, staff was very good. Dinner in the hotel was very good, but a little pricey.

A bag breakfast was served. Really, a bag breakfast that consisted of a granola bar, a container of apple juice, light yogurt and a cold sausage sandwich. Gave them back and stopped at the nearest restaurant for breakfast.

Perfect size and clean. Housekeeping was wonderful and helpful in finding more towels for us. The front desk was great and even recommended a few places to stop as we were chatting. We would definitely stay here again

The fan in the bathroom was a bit loud but not obnoxious and an elevator would be handy for the annex. With 2 kids it took a few trips to get everything upstairs. And that's just being nit picky

First visit to Ely. Didn't realize gambling was such a big part of the economy. Glad that my room was a cross the street as I am bothered by cigarette smoke. Loved the red accent on the bed.

Thought I would get more services during my three day stay. Had to ask for certain things.

This is a very small town. So I rated high due to surrounding property. It is very clean. Staff wiping off the slots machines. Room and bathroom clean as well. The staff is very friendly. Restaurant is good. Only serves cheesesteaks (various kind ) but very good!
