Avi Resort & Casino

The resort is great, the pool and river each. The amount of food and drink locations as well as the drinks offered at the pool all make it a good time.

This resort could be a 10/10 if most of staff was not rude. Of course, there is some good ones that are friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Although, a majority is not that way and very rude as well as inexperienced at their jobs. Food takes long, rude attitudes, and inconveniences due to people just not being nice makes me think twice before coming back.

The knly problem we had is the toilet in our room plugged up everytime we used and when we told the front desk they said they would send someone to fix it and never did. We ended up going downstairs to use the restrooms on the main floor.

It was a beautiful hotel. Pool and beach area were very nice. Rooms are clean and spacious.

Our closet door was broken, the handle. The bathroom could have been cleaned better. The staff was not the friendliest. They were pretty rough around the edges. Some people were nice (like 2 people). The coffee shop is way over prices, we are pretty sure they ripped us off. We got 2 vanilla americanos, with Almond milk. It came out to $20!! We didn't feel very welcome. My husband is Hispanic, and some of the staff would not even say good Morning back to him. Extremely rude. Unfortunately the way the staff was, we won't stay again.

The pictures online don’t do the Avi justice. I am mostly talking about the swimming pool and private beach. They are both extremely clean and beautiful. We rented a beach palapa and was worth the $50 per day. We did not have to rush to the beach and find a spot to set up. When we were ready we would get there knowing we had a big private area with shade waiting for us. While swimming in the river we had fish swimming beneath us and the pool has two slides for the kids to enjoy. All in all I will be back!

While in my room I noticed that the two bathroom faucets were extremely dirty. The green mold on the two faucets was thick and it was obviously never cleaned. I also saw one small cockroach in my room! It really grossed me out.

Beautiful property, nice secluded beach, pool is a great size but water is very cloudy. Purpose as to why I decided to rent 3 rooms at the Avi, and a space at the KOA, was for the convenience of the beach and jet ski rentals, I checked online to make sure all was available to my family and I, but after checking in I walked out to the beach and was told by security that jet ski rentals was no longer available, very disappointed.

everything is on one location like shops, restaurants, and gas.

Didn’t like how you can bring your own beer to the pool area or even the beach area. Can’t believe security was checking personal ice chest for beer. Also in the “Adult Pool”, you have to pay $10 just to sit down in a chair. should be free to sit anywhere you like specially if you’re already paying to stay at the resort. Had a good stay but would rather stay in Laughlin at any of the hotels there. Not so hard on the rules in Laughlin. Also the slots at the Avi are outdated and hardly anyone was winning anything.

We came last year with a big group mainly kids and got to enjoy pizza at the pool for dinner as a team now this year werent aloud to bring outside food in which is very understandable..so the kids were bum that they couldn't eat together....would yourguys at least accept the food court item since it's still part of your property..and nothing from a outside vendor..Or make or build a bigger area to sit to eat..untill then we love your property and everything you have done with it..we come every year

The staff was great. Really welcoming and helpful. Very kid friendly and lots for them to do.

The cafe was not good. The young man that got our drinks was rude. I asked for kids cups or to go cups for my children's drinks but he said they didn't have any. My daughter spilled right after her food came and it fell all in her spaghetti. He got mad when I told him we spilled. He never offered another drink or food plate. Also the waitress had family stop by and forgot about us. She was busy talking to them. So when we got our food it was cold. This was the only bad part of our stay.

The property is clean, and there is a lot to do there for kids. Although the pool was closed, the renovations look like it will be super fun once it reopens. the beach was a BLAST, even though the water was very cold, we were still there about 3-4hrs just playing in the sand. Very kid friendly, lots to keep all ages of kids occupied, the arcade was fun but expensive and you don’t get a lot of tickets in the end but it was super fun. The Kids Quest place was AMAZING!!!! I felt it was affordable too, not too pricy.

I didn’t like that the blackjack tables were closed Monday-Thursday

The resort is an Oasis after driving across the California desert on our way to Flagstaff. Located on the Colorado River, the grounds are nice to walk around and enjoy the warm sun. There are plenty of food choices, cafes, take out and restaurants to choose from. We are not gamblers but enjoyed the action for a night.

The main restaurant was terrible! The service was friendly but the food was overpriced and the chef really did not know how to prepare meals. My friend is vegan and should of ordered a salad, but they convinced her the chef would make a fine meal for her. They charged her $35. for a plate piled high of limp veggies saturated in oil. She could not eat it.
