I got there on Tuesday and staying until Friday. The password for Wi-Fi was changed on Thursday I called to ask for undated login and since I tried too often with wrong one the hotel would not let me connect. if things like this happen the guest should be notified I shouldn’t have to ask and then be denied. I had to use my own data.

It was right on the river with easy access to the water taxi's that you could take to other properties on the river. Saltgrass restaurant was excellent, Bubba Gumps Restaurant left a little to be desired..

The phone in our room didn't work, and there was a bedside lamp that wasn't secured to the wall and didn't work either. Told front desk, they sent someone up and secured lamp, but even after telling him it didn't work he left saying was all good, but still didn't turn on. I asked him about phone and he said it is happening to several rooms, but he didn't know how to fix problem, said that would be somebody else. 🤔

Many dining choices

SO many things were in disrepair. At check-in another guest was asking for a third room because the AC in the first 2 didn’t work; the grout in between the tiles in the bathroom of my room was 1/2 gone, and much of it was sticking to my feet with each step coming out more and more; Several sinks and stalls in the bathroom I used while dining were out of order and the elevators were loud and clunky. It seems like a well traveled hotel, that has been there for many years - maintenance is needed, but also still clean and very usable.

Access to the hotels check in desk and elevators is located really close to the parking garage hotel entrance which is lovely. They have a Claim Jumper (restaurant) in the casino that allows call ahead take out orders which is really convenient for breakfast when you don’t want to wait in line. However, on the paper I was given at check in it said that they delivered straight to the room, but they don’t. This was a bit of a bummer because I had to get up and get a bit decent in order to go down and get it. But still better than waiting in a long line for a table. They have a bar there that almost feels “club” like at night which was super nice for us younger crowd. Rooms weren’t anything over the top and lavish, but they were clean.

They few things we didn’t like about this property were the confusing temperature thermometer controls and no fan in the bathroom. The air unit’s controls had been converted to a wall control panel that WOULD not get the air to push harder or colder. I honestly think it was out there so that THEY could control the air temp so that people aren’t making it SUPER cold in their rooms causing the electric bill to go up. we spent 25 minutes adjusting it and the temp of the air pushing out and the fan speed of the air pushing out literally never changed. The rooms have a vent in the bathroom, but no option to turn it on like a fan. So when we would take showers, the whole bathroom got wet from steam and took a long while to clear out. it also caused the room to feel a bit hotter.

I found some of the reviews unfounded as the rooms were decent and quite clean although some minor issues in the bathroom, they are not a concern. Room is spacious, clean and kept clean every day by housekeeping. Coffee and bottled water refreshed every day.

some of the plumbing fixtures in the bathroom need replacement. We had a room overlooking the pool area, and had to listen to music all day long, even though it was too cold to use the outdoor pool. The rooms here are not equipped with either deadbolts or safety latches inside. Anyone with a room key can enter at any time which housekeeping likes to do in the morning. This happened to us on our last day, where they actually entered the room. We were shocked, and in bed at the time. Suggest you bring your own doorstop/wedge if you stay here.

Checking-in, front desk ms aleyah was magnificent. Just a short wait and she attent to each guest with a warm friendly smile. Excellent food and service at saltgrass and bubba Gump. Gift shop sales representative marrianne( name may not be correct) also provided amazing service. Housekeeping excellence service and always a friendly smile. Perfect location. Right size hotel. It was a Christmas outing on Dec 23- Dec 27th, and the amazing staff at the Golden Nugget made it that much special. Pet friendly, so we were able to take our two fur babies.i meant to fill out the complimentary cards for each of them. Too much fun. Time slips my hands. I forgot to fill in the cards. My apologies. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 😊

Very nice staff, lots of restaurants nearby. Beds very comfortable.

I originally booked 2 rooms with Booking.com, then later needed to cancel 1. Very easy to do, I love Booking.com. Later called Golden Nugget with question, during conversation, lady confirmed to me that 1 room cancelled, and 1 still confirmed. But when we arrived on specified date, whole reservation had been canceled! Showed them my confirmation from Booking.com that showed reservation still active, they rebooked, but it took longer...

Claim Jumper breakfast exceeded our expectations, fast service, friendly staff, reasonable prices.quality of food/cooks ability to provide a consistent product and quality of menu items very good. Definitely a do over!!!

A little disappointed with bubba gumps services. Already wrote a review but I will say that we( wife and myself) were disappointed the fact we were seated and never talked with anyone about ordering. After 25 minutes, I returned the menus, thanked the hostess and left.

I slept really well. Bed was comfy, sheets were clean and not too hot. You know how some hotels have comforters that are too hot and you throw on the ground. This place is better than that. My sleeping was about the my favorite thing about the room. Sleep is key.

There was rust in my bathroom sink, you the drain part. And when I sat on the toiler, the tile was uneven on one foot, which threw my pooping off slightly the first day. That might be jet lag. Also, the grout was breaking in one area, this I noticed while sitting there on the throne.

The hotel was great. The casino was fun, the restaurants were great although you'll need reservations, and the small lounge was also very fun! The pool was nice as well although we never used it. Very pet friendly hotel which was great.

The pet rooms need to be aired out a little better before the next guests. Our room didn't have a back door so it was a bit challenging walking down a long hall and through the lobby to get to the pet area. The pet fee is also a bit steep, ($50 per night).
