Howard Johnson by Wyndham Atlantic City

The hotel was located blocks from Ocean Casino Resort and others. Nothing fancy but clean. Most less expensive hotels have a musty smell, this did not. The two front desk clerks at check in were very friendly and welcoming.

There is an alley across the street were it seems is a gather place for some shady activities.

ROOMS ARE ALWAYS CLEAN, FRIENDLY STAFF WHO ALWAYS RECOGNIZES OUR FAMILY, WE HAVE BEEN STAYING HERE OVER 15 YEARS ,WE STAY AT THIS LOCATION AT LEAST 3 TIMES PER YR ON AND OFF SEASON. POOL AREA IS ALWAYS CLEAN, EMPLOYEE IS CONSTANTLY WIPING DOWN RAILINGS, AND WET CHAIRS. PERRYS CAFE CAN BE ACCESSED THRU HOWARD JOHNSON LOBBY, PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE, LOTS OF FOOD FOR PRICE, SERVES BREAKFAST AND LUNCH AND DINNER FOODS, ONLY DRAW BACK IS IT CLOSES AT 3PM DAILY

WHEN YOU WALK BACK ONE BLOCK AWAY FROM THE HOTEL THE AREA IS REALLY SHADY, DRUNKS, DRUG ADDICTS AND HOMELESS PEOPLE PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND CLOSELY ,MONITOR YOUR SURROUNDINGS

When you book a last minute getaway it worth the stay. The property was very decent. It’s a block and a half from the Boardwalk and the beach and arcade. They have a pool it small but also decent my child enjoyed the pool and the room. They have a diner in the lobby and the prices are very decent. The kids enjoyed the food. They take the last walk-in in the diner at 2pm it get crowded because a lot of people go there. I will definitely go back.

Bed was a bit uncomfortable and it sounded like someone was entering our room when nearby doors opened. Pool hours could be a bit longer

I loved the location. 2 blocks from the boardwalk and most major casinos. I was able to leave my vehicle parked the entire weekend. There was free parking and plenty of spaces (although they were tight) The room was clean and spacious.(And I'm VERY picky). The staff are nice and friendly. I love that it's attached to a cafe/ diner that has excellent food with fast service

Our toilet had issues on a couple of occasions during our stay, but the maintenance addressed it immediately both times. Also... there are very "questionable" looking people who hang around outside from time to time, but it isn't the best neighborhood so it's really not in the hotels control

I didn't like that there was not a full length mirror in the room. I didn't like the bathroom set up. It made things a little hard to get the toilet paper n flush but otherwise it was ok

staff is very pleasant and eager to do anything to make you stay comfortable even allow you to come in a little earlier if necessary and did not ask for a early check in fee I thought that was very very pleasant I needed that because my hotel before canceled me out I was stranded and they were there for me they assist me when I need it ASAP So I did not have to sleep in my car the rest of my stay at think

They have a restaurant inside of the hotel and one also next-door that stay open till two in the morning very very convenient did not need to use my car for anything at all and they have a great parking lot that does not cost anything Wi-Fi was also ask

close to all casinos either walking distance or a quick cheap Uber. room was clean, pool was clean, easy check in and they also let us check in at 12 which was extremely accommodating to us and appreciated

it’s in a good location for the attractions and entertainment but lots of drug addicts walking around outside the property so it felt a little worrisome if I were to be by myself

The staff was great! They accommodated us even after we checked out with a request to parking for the rest of the day. Everyone was nice, great sense of humor and prompt! Everything was clean. We stayed in a smoking room which required us to go outside to get to our room and even those areas were quiet and clean! The cafe next door had the best food!

Honestly we had no complaints. Parking wasn’t ideal but the staff was always available to move cars when needed so this was the best solution!
