Holiday Inn Express Mount Arlington, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast was fabulous! The staff was friendly and attentive.

The only weak point was that the toilet in the room was not flushing properly. The staff attempted to fix it with a plunger, but it didn’t work. We flushed multiple times each time it was used until we checked out. I reported this to the front desk as we were leaving and told them to call a plumber. They were very apologetic and apologized profusely. I explained that it would “appear” to work when empty, but would not with anything in it. Hopefully, it was repaired before another booking of the room. Our stay was perfect except for the toilet. Thank you!

Location was great, the accomodations are inpeccable. Loved the Gym facilities and breakfast. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. So much more than I had expected. I loved that there was a Keurig Machine and a fridge in the room. There was ample seating and closet space as well. Over all a very well organized and aesthetically appealing setup.

We only have one complaint about our stay. As stated above, everything was exceptional and so much more than we expected. However, upon arrival we were greeted by a front desk attendant that did not give off a very welcoming vibe. She was curt and not very patient as we gave her our check-in information. She could have been a bit friendlier, as we were not rude or overbearing in our treatment to her. We later met another employee that also covers the front desk. He was very kind, friendly and patient in answering any questions we had.

The entire staff was extremely professional and tended to our every needs. Our room was spotless and the staff was helpful and polite. Linda, the manager was so friendly and personable. We had great conversations with her and she gave us great tips on touring the area and fun things to do!

The room was wonderful. We had a fireplace and a Jacuzzi tub in the living room. It was a nice getaway.

And I didn’t like was that room isn’t available on booking.com

Stayed here before. Convenient and close to NYC. Staff always pleasant and efficient. Well trained. Nice room No surprises. Also this property is located very near an excellent gas station and mini mart. Looks brand new. Nice bright store, good fresh food. Great variety. Handy!

TV could be easier to operate. Cheap remotes and not much variety of channels. Would pay a reasonable upcharge for better cable.

The room was clean, roomy, very comfortable and stylish. Everything worked and the room provided everything we wanted in our stay. The spa tub was amazing and worked very well! Our bed was super comfortable and we slept amazing. Staff was friendly and the amenities with the location worked very well. Very relaxed after a 2-night stay there. There are plenty of great restaurants and parks to visit.

When I checked in, I was charged more by the hotel than the total price booking.com had in my reservation. Make sure to have a copy of your reservation! The TV remote was not working properly, but it wasn't too much of an inconvenience to us to complain. The breakfast was okay. Nothing special.

Stayed in the King room with fireplace and hot tub. Beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Having Cracker Barrel right next door was wonderful too!

Loved having breakfast included. The egg white veggie omelet Sat. Morning tasted good but was cold. Sundays omelets were hot... maybe they resolved the problem.

Hotel was very clean, my only complaint is the walls are paper thin so anyone showering or talking in the next room can be heard. They serve a very nice breakfast every morning, changing the menu & it was free. Staff was very friendly & checking in & out was every easy.

It was comfortable and good value for the money. Other than the minor issue regarding cleanliness, everything was beyond what we expected. Will definitely return.

I would have appreciated a little more cleanliness. The carpets were stained and there was some hair on the bathroom floor when we checked in.

The hotel was very clean, and the room exceeded our expectations. Great location and the staff was very friendly. The Continental breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be staying there again!
