Ramada by Wyndham Rockaway

The beds were comfy. first time in a king time I had no back pain. The bathroom was clean. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I was able to upgrade to a room with a kitchenette for a reasonable price. They had good outlets by the bed to charge phones. quiet location. Parking was right in front with easy access to the rooms. The outside doors were not locked so it made it easy to get in and out to the car. The breakfast was basic- cereal, toast, Belgian waffle, yogurt and fruit. Along with coffee and juice.

The place is run down. It definitely needs some new carpet and some updates. You could hear between the rooms and outside the hallway door. Some lady was having a fight with her daughter at 4am in the parking lot. but for the price we could live with that.

Large quiet room, comfortable bed, good shower (great pressure, lots of hot water and a free-flowing drain), loved the wood floor which is so much more sanitary than carpet, reasonable price compared with other area lodging.

Musty smell in the hallway and in the room when we first entered but that went away after turning on the A/C. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

The size of the room was fantastic! As well as the dove soap.

Only complaint would be needing appropriate sized pillows for a king bed. Bed had throw sized pillows. My partner is 6'2 and 300lbs a 12x12 pillow wasn't exactly cutting it. I was also slightly disappointed I didn't have a balcony room, which when booking said there was a balcony with my room.

Continental breakfast wasn't what I expected. There was only white bread which you had to toast. No danish no bagels no rolls. No half and half only 2% milk for coffee.

The room was nice and the bed was comfortable but there was a weird smell in the hallway.

The only good thing about breakfast was the waffle maker and the juice.

Again. The people at the front desk are the best. The one guy with the nice hair and AirPods Pro is halarious and takes pride in his job and the hotel. The overnight workers are also very helpful and friendly.

There’s no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms. Also some of the rooms could use a refresh. Like new covers for the chairs or a nice carpet cleaning. Also wish they sold hard alcahol in the lobby. I doubt that is even legal tho.

The towel was not very clean at all..Housekeeping gave me more and they still wasn’t clean.

Beds are super comfortable! Lovely view and private balcony for upper rooms looking at woods. All 3 staff members I came in contact with were nice and accommodating!

All carpets need replaced. I think they are doing that.

The people who worked the front desk are the best. They are so nice and understanding. Also the balcony is awesome.

I had bugs in one of my rooms and the cleaning people are pretty rude. Still would go back tho. My other rooms were relatively clean.
