Blue Creek Inn

This location did not have breakfast but did have 24 hour coffee. Staff was friendly and room swas clean.

The room was very dark. The lamps were not bright enough. We had to put every lamp on to get enough light. The coffee pot in the bathroom was on the opposite side of the counter from the outlet. To use it you would have to drape the cord over the sink and the cord was very short a real safety hazard. You could not bring the coffee pot over to the table in the bedroom because there wasn't an outlet close enough. My husband had to go to the lobby for coffee.

An excellent motel for budget travelers — the facilities are new, very clean and functional. The beds are comfortable, the A/C system in the room is quiet and rooms equipped with coffee maker, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The facility is set behind a strip mall; there is no road noise. Rooms are adequately sound insulated from each other. (Seasonal outdoor pool available during summer.)

There is no signage/lighting on Route 9 that indicates the access points to the motel. It is only really an issue at night. Actually it is pretty interesting that the motel is hidden from the road and seems to rely on customers booking in advance.

The location was ideal for our needs. There was no breakfast, but we knew that ahead of time and brought our own. There was a great place with a few tables that was great for breakfast. The staff was wonderful and answered our every need. They even went above and beyond to accommodate our party of 12 in 3 rooms together and close to the pool. There was a great restaurant in the front parking lot that was able to serve all 20 diners at the same time. I think this small hotel was the perfect choice.

It was a bit difficult to find because it sat back off the road, but that made it much quieter.

I liked that the lobby is modern and clean and that there is a coffee machine and tea available as well as seating.

I didn’t like that lobby closes it’s doors at night and reopens in morning and that they don’t tell you that you cannot leave thru main front doors when you check in. we left in the morning and had to find a back exit and walk around to where car was parked with bags in hand. it was inconvenient.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated.

The bed was hard as a box. I think it may have actually been a box . I know that they just opened and hope they will invest in better mattresses. I was only there one night so I wasn't bothered by it. I would go back for another short stay. Also in the morning there was a sign directing guests to use "Rear South Door" for exit. They should mark that door as such. Since both rear doors are emergency exit doors I was a little afraid of setting off the alarm.

The location was perfect for my plants. Also, it is located in a plaza where there are many other stores all in one place. Scott at the front desk was amazing. I was also fortunate to meet the owner, who was an amazing, dynamic woman who really cares about this family run hotel. if you were looking for a clean place that is reasonably close to LBI, you can’t go wrong. The woman at the front desk was SUPER nice and we chatted every time we came in or out of the building. I liked that the coffee was available in the lobby

Queen bed and outdated decor. Lobby locked doors at night and in the morning. Having to use our back door was a little weird when we wanted to leave to go for breakfast in the morning or coming back after our family reunion late at night (was not comfortable or felt unsafe)

The motel was clean, well landscaped, easy to get to, and recently renovated from what it seemed. I stayed here for easy access to a triathlon I was doing at a park about 8 miles away. We also went to LBI while there and it was extremely easy to get to and from both.

The motel itself is behind a shopping center and does not offer any real scenery or anything like that, but was a great home base for my needs. This is not a beach motel, but if you need a clean, comfortable, and safe place to stay while visiting the area it is perfect and affordable.

Dorothy at the front desk was beyond friendly and hospitable. She was extremely accomodating as I checked into the hotel late at night alone for work. The rooms were tastfully decorated and clean. They do have complimentary coffee and tea 24/7 which was helpful, vending machine and self service laundry.

They don't have a continental breakfast and the pool (which looked beautiful) was closed...not that I had time to use it but when I go back it would be nice to enjoy.

I liked many things about Blue Creek Inn. It has a walking/ bike trail right beside it. Our room was clean, cosy, looked good and smelled good. I also liked the fact that there were two entrances to the room; one from the parking lot, and one from inside the motel. I liked the old-fashioned, real keys, which were a touch of class, but best of all, I liked the lady that managed this motel. She seemed like a very capable person, and was so knowledgeable about the area and gave us a lot of information about beaches to visit and the Lighthouse, "Old Barney."

For the price, I would have liked a continental breakfast included. But maybe that is not possible right now with the pandemic.
