Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel

I had a very early morning flight out of ABQ and was coming from Santa Fe; I didn’t want to have to wake up in the middle of the night to get ready, drive the hour it takes to get to Albuquerque, refuel and return the car, so I decided to spend the night at the Sheraton. I was given a very nice and spacious room on an upper floor with many amenities. The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. The shuttle functions very well and they’ll even pick you up at the car rental facility, which saves time!

Some of the hardware on the furniture is falling apart and is in need of refurbishment.

The room was quiet, air was fresh and cool, very good quality facilities, and excellent staff. Since my last stay I noted two changes that I liked, flexibility in check in time and no charges for internet. Proximity to the airport was my reason for staying there knowing it was a very good hotel and could meet my travel needs without a rental car.

There are never enough reliable electrical plugs for all the devices today. All the wall plugs were taken and the plugs in the lamp bases were too loose to make contact without lots of fiddling around, if at all. These should be replaced. The toilet was a "rocker" where the base was not sound and moved when a load was applied. It also did not stop running with a slow water flow. These are minor but are the differences between excellent and very good. Price was on the high side, so will be a consideration in the future trading against other hotels near by and charges for another day with the rental car.

Convenient: car can stay at hotel during trip so we could leave a day’s PJs and clothes in the car. They do 24-hour drop off at airport and our flight reservation was sifted to very early in the morning. At the end of our trip, we were picked up promptly at 10:20 in the evening by the hotel shuttle. There was food at the bar until midnight. We could retrieve a bag of PJs and clothes for the next day from our car. Then we slept in the most comfortable beds of our entire trip and had a great breakfast, much better than standard fare.

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The property was located close to restaurants and the venue we were attending. Secure parking was a plus!

The reservation was for 4 people, and there was not enough towels nor toiletries, but we made due because our stay was short. But better accommodations to the number in our group would’ve been nice.

Comfortable bed, quiet room, near the airport, friendly staff

Had to wait for shuttle 20 minutes. When he arrived, he drove to 2 additional hotels to pick up other riders. The delay almost made me miss my plane. The concierge had offered to drive me in his personal car, but when the driver arrived while we were walking to his car, i thanked him and made the wrong decision to take the shuttle. The shuttle driver looked a bit over stressed and rushed. These days, everyone is short of staff - unfortunately.

Staff provided extra help such as parking our car for us so that we two elderly guests could take out cart up to our room together. Staff also stepped up to help me maneuver the loaded cart to the outside curb while my husband was getting our car.

The thermostat or something was not working in our first room and it was too cold, so we had to change rooms. In the new room, the floor lamp and one of the lights over the bathroom sink had burned out bulbs. At around 9am, the cleaning crew was on the floor and were speaking loudly to each other. While they didn’t wake me up, their voices were quite loud and it was annoying, as we didn’t check out for another 45 minutes.

Upon arrival, I stood waiting for several minutes to check in while 2 female employees were casually talking to each other. I finally had to interrupt them to let them know that I was there.

Shuttle service to airport is great.

Exhausted and hurting I spent an hour unsuccessfully trying to get a boarding pass from the lobby computers or the desk. Couldn't plug bathtub drain. Finally kind of half plugged at an angle. Ugly, dark, impossible to stain carpet.

I liked the clean, comfortable furnishings, the view of Sandia Peak outside the window, and the shower that was practically a blanket, making showering go faster.

I kept wishing for a light over the suitcase shelf. As it was, it was in the darkest spot, making finding stuff in my suitcase just a little bit harder.
