SpringHill Suites by Marriott Albuquerque University Area

Room was very nice...very clean...beds comfortable. Wish there was more lighting in the room especially in restroom to apply make up...very disappointed..i was in town for a special occasion. Granddaughter disappointed there wasn't a pool but enjoyed the spacious room.

Not enough lighting in the room especially in the restroom for those of us who like to apply makeup. Restroom was beautiful but very modern with glass doors and not appropriate for a mix of adults and children staying in the room trying to get ready in the morning.

My king suite on the 6th floor was wonderful and, in general, quiet.

The breakfast was extremely limited with the same poor selections each day. This was peculiar and not at all comparable to the other excellent qualities of the hotel. Another bizarre fact is that the hotel has no entrance in front of a main entrance. Never have I seen an architectural lay-out like this anywhere in the world. This is terrible and very confusing.

This hotel is in a great location. It is close to the airport for travelers. It offers free breakfast with wonderful facilities for working out. It is in a quiet area with plenty of parking. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious.

The heater fan was definitely a little noisy and a couple of small things got missed when the room was cleaned. Unless it was a stain that cannot be removed.

Very comfortable room. Spacious and it really was a little suite with a seating area with a sofa (which could be folded out to an additional bed) and table. Garage and outdoor parking options. Location is right next to hospital and transit, easy to get to university and Old Town. The 66 Diner nearby is great.

Nice, new hotel with modern and clean interior. Big room with two queen beds and a fold out couch. We stayed four people with no problems. Nice bathroom and pretty decent location. Oh yeah, free parking too!

Close to the hospital so once in a while a helicopter would fly close by and a few sirens as well. But being so new you hardly notice.

It’s very safe and located right next to the Central Ave. Perfect location!! They have their own parking garage, which makes it feel secure. Great gym, and staff members are friendly!

The breakfast is too simple (only a banana/orange, a snack and a bottled water) no protein at all!!! Also, the front desk staff didn’t tell us everything, like you need a parking permit and you need to sign up a time slot for the gym. I’m glad I asked them for those information, instead of finding out myself with mistakes.

It was a nice hotel. Very nice areas outside of the Downtown area.

the breakfast was not good. The area around the hotel felt a little unsafe when walking in the area. City has a large homeless population.

My husband and I felt comfortable staying here because it had a parking garage. The location was easy to get to. The property was clean and so were the rooms. I liked that our room had the two beds plus a sofá trundle bed. The room had a microwave, fridge and a walk-in closet. We had access to free movies.

They didn’t offer breakfast. Although the hotel had a parking garage, it wasn’t gated. They only had two luggage carts. Still, my family enjoyed our stay, and we will be staying here again.

Breakfast was supposed to be a part of our stay. In an effort to support COVID-19 requirements, the hotel switched to bag breakfast, which is fine. The issue that we had was that it was a bottle of water, a piece of fruit, and a granola bar. We expected at least something that we could throw in the microwave. Also, we strongly believe that our neighbors were using marijuana. We smelled it in the area just outside our rooms. At one point, we smelled it in our room but it went away. We could not tell if it came in as we entered/exited the room or if it came from the bathroom.

I love that the staff accommodated the fact I have 3 children and needed the room I requested but also on the bottom floor so that we didn’t disturb any of the other guest with our children’s playful behavior. They staff is really efficient and Handel all request in extreme timely manners and I appreciate that they put the needs of the guests so high on their priority. Thank you for making this an enjoyable stay considering the circumstances on why we are staying in the first place. (My mother has cancer and is doing her chemo and doesn’t want to be alone)

Only thing I didn’t like is that the beds being so far apart and there only being one television in the room is inconvenient.
