Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Gallup

the location was great..easy access on and off the freeway, the breakfast was good, and the room was clean and pretty well laid out.

would like to have an actual chair in the room not just ottoman, plus I would have liked to have a couple flavored creamers available for coffee in the morning. would have preferred the start time for breakfast to be 600am.

If you need a clean, convenient place to stay in Gallup, we recommend this hotel. The clerk at reception was welcoming and professional. Our king room had a very comfortable bed with good linens, plenty of electrical outlets, and free wi-fi. There also was a complimentary breakfast bar with nice assortment - eggs, sausage, pancakes and breads.

The only (slight) drawback is the freight train that rumbles through several times in the evening. We noticed it at first, but it didn’t keep us awake.

Property was clean an room layout was excellent. Helpful staff in finding a close place for food.

Location was hard to get in and out due to construction. Property is located in an older neighborhood with very little options for food.

we were bu the elevator which was a little noisy…not the people…the elevator. stayed on a fri. and wanted to get an early start…breakfast didnt start until 7 so start was a little later breakfast wasn’t really worth waiting for :/

Love that it is a pet friendly hotel. So hard to find good hotels that will let our fur family stay with us.

Pricing for pets is a bit high$$$$, specially when you have two small dogs. $90.00- too much. Maybe try $20 per dog.

The room was very nicely decorated and the bed/pillows quite comfy. Good light blocking curtains and a quiet ambience.

Breakfast was the worst I’ve ever been served at a hotel. The coffee maker in my room was located in a dark (no light anywhere) cubby which made it next to impossible to access it in order to fill it with water. Most inconvenient and not well-thought out. Why not put it on a counter so one can see what they’re doing?

Modern, clean and well-kept and the staff was friendly

It could get a little noisy at times, especially at night. I heard our neighbors in the room above walking around and the hotel was near the train tracks and hearing trains not uncommon but overall not a game changer

a bit to pricey, I had an id with an old address on it and I was told by the front desk clerk they don’t rent to locals. I asked why the discrimination on locals renting she was rude and quick to dismiss my question

The past few visits - the pool was under construction and no where on the site it stated it was and for the price when there was no pool.. No really worth the value.

Everyone was friendly. The Inn was immaculate.

Our only complaint was having to pay $35 for each dog. I don't mind paying a pet deposit but my dogs are kenneled and housebroken so I felt $70 was an outrageous pet fee.
