SpringHill Suites by Marriott Gallup

The front desk staff was amazing. Our room had a very loud air conditioner that could not be turned off (they are in the process of swapping them all out and this one was not changed out yet), and she was happy to let us move rooms. The breakfast was good. I especially appreciated the dairy free options for milk on the oatmeal.

We loved the fact that the hotel is away form the trains - that is why we picked you - but the neighborhood seemed a little rough. We did not have any problems, and it was quiet at night, but we were a bit nervous about all the things in the car.

The room was great and plenty of space. We had an issue with the TV not working, the staff said how can we make it right and gave us a credit to compensate for the non working tv. Overall great value for your money.

The TV did not work but that can happen anywhere. The staff needs to be able to provide a wi-fi password and they could not, you had to call a 800 number. Overall the hotel met our expectations and then some.

An all around beautiful facility. Very comfortable and clean. Strong water pressure with very hot water, climate control was perfect. Breakfast was kind of lackluster but that's not a big element for me. It really was just a beautiful facility, Not that I probably ever will be back in this area, but I would absolutely without hesitation stay here again.

Directions were a little confusing but easily resolved.

Breakfast was good, maybe the setup could be rearranged. There was a bottleneck by the toaster, I think there were just too many people all at once. Other than that it was good.

The only thing was the noise from upstairs. We could hear kids running down the hallway. The north and south entrance doors were not working. Had to use the front entrance or the entrance by the elevators. Other than that it was good.

1st room was about 80F, AC was off and west facing window had shades full open. AC was weak, ask for maintenance from desk offered new room. new room next door had same issue, hot stuffy room with shades open and AC off. This room AC had better output, turned on full shut window shades, plugged in small personal small USB fan and went for dinner and shopppng. within 4 hours room temp was down to mid 70’s. room had two burned out light bulbs.

The size of the room was nice. It fit 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 kids nicely. The interior of the hotel and rooms was very nice, and modern. Plenty of hot water too!

The pillows were horrible! They were feather pillows, so they were very flat and not comfortable at all. The AC was noisy, which there is nothing you can do about it, I am a light sleeper. We were not impressed with the Breakfast at all, only thing that was good was the cereal and juice.

We stayed in October, 2022 and the hotel looks very new. The king suite was very well appointed and roomy. The work and sitting area are very nice. The bed and linen are excellent and the bathroom very large. I loved the fabric wall paper and the sliding door from the bathroom to the bedroom. The staff was great and breakfast was pretty good. Book this place, it's a good value.

Room is spacious and clean.

The ac/heat unit was too loud (rattling noise) had to turn it off. The bed was a little too firm for my comfort. But my husband slept well. Sorry grits were not on the breakfast menu. Last time I stayed the grits were delicious.

The hotel and room were both beautiful. The pool was closed due to a very unusual storm that came through town.

I was a little concerned when I had to drive through a not so nice area to get to the hotel, then saw a sign basically saying that crime is high in the area. Was a little worried, but nothing happened.

Very friendly courteous staff. Reserving was excellent...First I tried at Gallups Hampton Inn I was asking questions and the staff told me why don't you stay somewhere else so I did.. I'm glad I did Springhill suites was very knowledgeable about what they have.. and because our stay was for a family funeral it made it one less thing to worry about... I highly recommend.
