Americas Best Value Inn Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Right off of I-40, yet we never heard any traffic. Well lit parking lot, with room for pickups with trailers. Rooms were good sized, with large flat screen TV's. Staff could not have been nicer, made you feel right at home. Bathrooms were clean and worked exactly like they should, with a bonus night light. Beds were perfect, not too hard or too soft. Huge flat screen TV with lots of channels. Microwave, mini fridge, good wall unit air. Even have HDMI ports built into the night stand. Blueberry waffles for breakfast. Along with two choices of cereal, muffins, cinnamon rolls. Orange juice, good coffee with all the fixings.

I would not change anything about this motel.

Very convenient off of I-40, easy to find and plenty of well lit parking spaces. We had a truck and car trailer that we were able to park and see easily, from our window. Staff was very friendly and got us checked in quickly. Room was nice and warm, very clean, big flatscreen TV, beds were comfortable. I was impressed with both the staff and the condition of the room. Returned two day later, the staff greeted me instantly, remembering my first name. Very pleased and so much more than I expected.

To be honest, I would not change a thing about this motel. The staff, the room, parking, it was all so much better than I expected.

The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was friendly. Air condioner worked well. Shower was wonderful with a high, well working, shower head (great for tall people). If we had neighbors, either they were quiet or the walls are solid. Area was well lit. It's an older hotel, but well kept.

Not much for breakfast, but the water was hot for tea, and there was a waffle machine. The directions brought us to River St., which is behind the hotel with original entrance being an RV park. Would have been better if it had kept me on 54 to go in from the front.

Clean & comfortable room. Had a small sofa to sit on while watching TV instead having to prop on the bed. Quite in the evening & the maid service was not knocking on the door in the morning. We were able to leisurely shower & pack up without feeling rushed to get out of the room. Nice! Nice big parking lot to pull our 14 foot trailer into right outside our room. Not a fancy hotel but all we needed was clean, comfortable & a reasonable price. We recommend this hotel.

The location is awfull, right after passing on the main street by a few abandoned hotels, Coming from that direction, we entered the parking lot through the back of the hotel ( it is not great), that is unpaved. We got so freaked out that I told my husband not to leave the car until I actually check the room. But the room was well beyond expectactions for the 55$/ night price, large, cute and even with a couch.

This is our favorite motel whenever we spend time in Santa Rosa. It is the only motel away for I-40 and therefore quiet. Their rooms and bathrooms are always clean. Their beds are the most comfortable. Their staff is efficient and friendly. The parking place is convenient and kept clean. They now offer breakfast from 6 to 9 am which we did not take advantage of since we leave very early. Overall well worth the money!

The AC worked well enough, and the bathroom looked clean and new. Comfortable beds and enough room to bring quite a few luggages in. There was also a simple free breakfast, waffle maker and packaged pastries.

Room lighting was slightly dingy, and the floor were some old gray planks with cracking in one area.

I arrived REALLY late, and was very pleased to find the whole parking lot very well lit. It made me feel much more comfortable as a solo traveler arriving in the wee hours of the morning. I also appreciated that my room was close to the office. The hotel was easy to get to from the Interstate, and there were a few dining options nearby for breakfast. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and it was worth the price I paid. The rose garden in the middle of the parking lot was a nice touch!

The room smelled a little stale when I first arrived, since the air was turned off, but after a few minutes of running the AC, it was fine.

No only was I completely satisfied with my room, but as I am an extremely early riser - 4am! - the night manager (Roshnie?) so kindly and courteously explained to me how to work the coffee maker!! :) If I am ever in the area, would gladly stay again. Margaret

Not a complaint, but I stumbled in only because it was the first motel I came to. The front doesn't do much to attract traffic.

I was really pleased with the entire stay. Check-in was easy and my room was very nice. I liked that I could park directly in front of my room. The area is quiet and yet close to the 40. Great shower pressure and hot water. The WiFi was excellent and I was able to work without interruption. Thank you!

TBH, the coffee in the room isn't very good. LOL. And maybe have an additional blanket in the room.
