Best Western Santa Rosa Inn

This place is a refurbished classic Motel and it is next to perfect. I mean impeccable (for what it is). Santa Rosa is a just a wide spot off I40, so one should not expect much. We travel west several times a year and stop in this area overnight. We were stunned at the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds made up with proper COTTON sheets (not slimey polyester). The beds are best in any place we have stayed from here to Flagstaff. The staff was excellent. We also travel heavy, so parking just outside our door was a blessing. This is now our new overnight station!

The refrigerator freezer was iced up and we could not fit what we needed into it. The breakfast was the generic stuff one always gets, which generally sucks (bad coffee, white bread, burp-inducing sausage), but all hotels are like that. They could do better by contracting the Mexican place down the street for some awesome breakfast burritos (the place down the street is really good). HOWEVER, the breakfast area was well presented and very clean.

We had zero expectations but needed to stop in the middle of nowhere. What we saw of the town looked dismal. However, inexplicably this motel was one of the best places we stayed in. The room was clean, well kept, comfortable, way nicer than you'd expect from a 2 star motel. The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. In fact, we went out of our way to stop here again on our way back.

Great breakfast in to-go containers. Friendly and helpful staff. We chose this one level structure with exterior entrance to each room, and had our car in front, because covid-19 is still lurking around. It was the best choice! The hotel was also in a zero covid cases county for weeks, and observed all protocols. We felt very safe. The room was very clean. There was some kind of cleaner smell but can be aired out by the openable large screened window. Rooms were super insulated, did not hear any sound from neighboring guests, and room temperature stayed constant without heat or AC overnight!

We did ask for a room away from other guests but was given one in the middle of the long building. We stayed two nights, seems all guests around us checked out each morning, we were surprised not to be put at the end or further away. We did not see anyone except on the 2nd evening. The guest next door arrived around the same time we returned from a hike. In the very tight parking spaces, it took some accomodating to unload our cars. The gentleman next door offered to park in a spot across the lot, but unnecessary since we didn't have much to unload. It's a small inconvenience, and did not matter much since we were distanced enough outside, and still extremely quiet and comfortable. Some folks might like the carpeting and sofa updated, but overall excellent stay!

Very nice, even had freshly scrambled eggs. Friendly staff We left a hanging bag and called back for someone to find it. Lorena was super helpful in finding it, as it had been moved. Our friend stopped by the next day to pick it up.

Facility is a little dated, but very clean.

Upon entering the lobby, the young lady was attentive immediately and very helpful with a beautiful smile on her face. My grandson did a road trip, so we stayed in many hotels and believe me that was not always the case. So one appreciates courteous service. I wish I knew her name. She also good referrals for us.

Breakfast was over too soon.

This hotel was the nicest hotel we have stayed at in a long time.The room was large .bathroom was large bed was great. What I liked the best it was a single floor hotel where each room had door to outside. And had parking for my little trailer. We would stay there again any time.

I wasn't able to have breakfast because we hit the road early when I travel. So for the price I paid I felt I got cheated. But the room was clean, and the front desk person was very nice.

The price was to high for what was offered and what was available. Only one restaurant in town.

The breakfast was average. Food offerings were typical. Location was good for our needs. We thought the room was clean, the beds comfortable, and accommodated our dog well. Staff was nice.

The toilet paper was difficult to unroll and flimsy. No extra blankets.

The staff was efficient, helpful, and friendly. The location felt safe and was quiet. I really appreciated the pet relief areas.I had a nice stay and so did my dog. We will be back next drive to Texas.

Bed was very comfortable. Convenient to park outside room. Room well appointed and updated.

Breakfast was ok, breakfast room was small, coffee just ok
