La Quinta by Wyndham Santa Rosa

The man at the desk was very professional and kind. He does an excellent job! The room looked great! Very clean! Nice bigger TV! The breakfast was good! Biscuits we’re fresh and gravy was good! They had these yummy little peaches and cream fruit bowls too! Talked to one of the ladies In housekeeping and she was also excellent! I would definitely stay here again. As a bonus there’s a Mc Donald’s right across the street.

Everything was good! Would stay again! I saw a review that said Google gets confused and sends people to Santa Rosa California accidentally. I found that to be true, so I just googled the Mc Donald’s across the street and that worked well.

My bed was comfortable and clean. My room #227 was freshly remodeled, felt comfortable and also clean throughout. Front desk staff was nice and friendly. Property was quiet at night. Felt safe to leave my car full of personal items (I was moving across country) in the parking lot at night. Other people were doing the same.

Under construction for remodeling. Some areas in hotel were quarantined off and inaccessible. There is only a McDonald’s across the street. Also all the restaurants in Santa Rosa close at 9:00pm! Not many food options close by.

The room was immaculate! Very clean and actually looked new. I did not get there until after 12pm. The hotel was totally full. However they still had my reservation and my room was ready.

The parking lot was completely full as I got there so late. I found a spot around the back but it took some time. More importantly they have a designated spot for Veterans. I think that is fantastic. I am not a veteran so I would never park there even if I was totally desperate. The simple fact that they appreciate these patriots that serve/served our amazing country made the stay more enjoyable!

Hotel is bright, clean, modern. There's still some remodeling in the lobby, dining area, hallways. Room was clean, spacious and modern. I am a stickler for phone charger and outlet plug right on the nightstand. Yes! Very convenient. Breakfast is your usual fare, nothing exceptional. I would say little overpriced for the area.

After checking in very late at night, of course we had the room on the second floor, farthest from the reception. So when our keys to the room didn't work, I had to walk all the way back, only to be told by the manager that I had to lift the door handle UP ! Bummer.

Newly remodeled

High step into bathtub/shower; no grab rails upon entering bathtub/shower; shower head way too high; no shower wand; floor in room was dirty; mattress too soft, especially the edge of mattress was unsupportive; room colors not warm; no carpeting in rooms or hallways so sounds ‘echo’ Carpeting muffles these sounds and feels warmer underfoot; room lighting harsh i.e., too white/bright; ridiculously cheap coffee maker 🤣

It was pet friendly . I really liked the floors. They were wood like vynal. The mirrors were new and lit up on the sides. I would say that my stay was perfect, but nothing is perfect. It was as close as it comes. I rented two rooms one for myself and one for my son. I very much appreciated that they had a place to park our Uhaul with the trailer. It made life so much easier.

I had to cross the street to eat

We really liked the room we had, everything was very clean, we have infant twins that are crawling so I liked that they were not crawling on dirty carpet. The beds were very comfortable and the sink outside of the bathroom was very convenient. They had a pretty good variety for breakfast as well. Despite the construction going on it was quiet in our room and a very pleasant stay.

No complaints!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. It was nice that breakfast was provided. Good location and walkable to restaurants on Route 66.

The pet noise was unfortunate. A dog in the room next door was barking in the middle of the night. Others were barking in the early morning. Pets and their owners were making lots of noise in the hallways early in the morning.

Very clean hotel, comfortable room, felt very safe and at ease. Breakfast had eggs and sausage! Private parking lot on the side next to the door by my room was super convenient. Quiet and close to food.

The indoor pool/hot tub were closed but that didn't really matter on this trip - however when I go back home and stop here I hope it will be open. Seriously though, that was the only bad thing and it wasn't even bad!

Beds were very comfortable! Exceptionally clean room and loved having coffee maker, frig and microwave. Quiet location and breakfast had a variety of choices eggs sausage oatmeal cereal fruit.

The only reason I rated it a 9 rather than a 10 on comfort was the floors in the room. I appreciate that the laminated flooring is cleaner and far more durable than carpet but it does make the room feel cold.
