Best Western Fishkill Inn & Suites

We're a family of 6 so finding a hotel where we don't have to get 2 rooms is a plus & so rare. The room was clean, comfortable & extremely convenient with the kitchen with supplies in it was very helpful.

The toilet was almost on the floor. I'm only 5'2" and I felt like it was too low, perfect for my kids though.

The staff on the desk were super helpful and friendly. The room size was great. The breakfast was good and again helpful staff with a warm smile. However, we are not used to paper plates and plastic cutlery. Concerns for the environment came to mind. The bed was comfortable, thank you. We would return again. The laundrette was a useful asset.

The daily emptying of bins would have also been appreciated. The change of bed linen halfway through our 11-night stay we had to initiate. On receiving a bundle we had to change the bedding ourselves. Housekeeping did change the towels halfway through our stay so why not the bedding? The pop-up sink did not work for seven days even after several reminders. The squeaky bathroom door did disturb sleep on the first night.

I stayed at this hotel annually before the pandemic when it was previously under different management as a Hawthorn Suites. This is my first visit since it became a Best Western and I am impressed by the upgrades to the hotel. Although I always enjoyed my stay before, everything feels more modern now. The room was clean and comfortable, and the AC was good. Staff were helpful and friendly. The morning breakfast was good quality. Overall the stay was excellent: I look forward to returning next summer. Highly recommended for British visitors to the Hudson Valley.

My kitchen had very limited resources, which made it difficult to cook meals. A fuller range of kitchen utensils and crockery would have made this a 10 star rating.

Friendly front staff and smooth check in and out. Well designed and comfortable room and bed. Great price included a nice breakfast. Recently renovated. Close to everything.

Puddle of water by our sink but after wiping it up it didn’t return so might have been a spill. The room had a smell like someone may have smoked and tried to cover it up although this is a non-smoking property. Lights in the room a little dim.

The bed was amazingly comfortable after a long drive. Our room was very large and spacious. It was a very interesting layout compared to normal hotels (which I liked, kind of like a cabin style layout.) Shower worked well.

The room was a little unclean. There was some kind of bug in the shower (silverfish or house centipede I think) and a few cobwebs hanging around. The amenities in the shower seemed used, but I was too tired to care after a long drive. We didn't use much else so I can't say anything more. If you want breakfast in bed, be prepared to walk a distance balancing plates :)

this property was in a good location. I liked the penthouse that I stayed in. the breakfast was great. I just wish the potatoes didn’t touch the pork. they should keep those things separate and they shouldn’t make them together either. the stag was super friendly and always looking out. I used the laundry and that was good. I wish they would have more than one laundry unit because it was far from my place.

I didn’t like the soundproofing. the person that walked upstairs was clearly heard downstairs. I wish the place couldn’t a little more cleaner like dust wise. but that’s about it.

I love the separate entrances for each suite.

The beds were very comfortable, hot breakfast in am,staff greeted everyone with a smile, well lit walkways at night

We rented a 2 bedroom suite it would have been nice to have a waste bin in each room instead of just one. Dishes were provided but didn't have a complete set(e.g. 1 knife,4 forks,2 spoons)T V. kept shutting out in one bedroom, could only watch in living rm

Breakfast was excellent and well made.

I didn’t like the fact that we had to be changing bed linens and towels ourselves. We initially booked a 2night stay and we extended to 4nights and the staffs didn’t bother to ask for the room to be cleaned or have the linens and towels changed. After making the request, we were the given the towels and bed linens to go change ourselves.

The staff was very helpful, location was perfect, the room was very spacious and comfortable

Room enterance was dirty with dust, we had to call the reception to come and vacuum it. The sink was clogged , so than we had to call them again to fix it. They took care of everything we needed. Everything else was good.
