Homewood Suites by Hilton Rochester/Greece, NY

The morning breakfast had some good hot and cold options, usually with at least one hot vegetarian option. The size and layout of the room was comfortable enough to stay for a week or two. There were plenty of outlets in the room, and also in the breakfast area downstairs, so it was well designed for remote working. Coffee available all day and good wifi. Super friendly front desk staff, they lent us some supplies for gift packing since we were staying over Christmas.

Somehow it was difficult to arrange a cleaning by housekeeping. It was supposed to happen once or twice in our multi-week stay, but we didn't end up having one despite a few requests to the front desk. It seems there was some missed communication between front desk and housekeeping.

Our suite was huge! ! It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. There were 6 of us staying together, plus a very energetic little puppy. There was lots of room for all of us! When we asked for more towels, they were delivered directly to our suite. The hot breakfast was also very good with a nice variety of choices.

There wasn't a vent fan in our bathroom. With 6 of us enjoying our suite, one would have made our stay perfect. Also, I wish there was an "Adult Only" swim option from 9pm to 10pm. When we went down to enjoy the pool, there was a bunch of younger children screaming and splashing despite their care givers being there with them. Our time in the pool wasn't as relaxing as we hoped it would be.

The moment I walked in I was in shock of how beautiful and clean the place looked the person at front desk was very friendly and kind when I got to my room one of my stove tops wasn’t working and I told an employee that was in the hallway and not even a minute of me telling them maintenance was at my door I was very happy and pleased I wish every hotel was like this one the best part about it was that I was from out of town for funeral services and they really made me feel at home thanks

I have nothing to complain about at all like I said my stove wasn’t working and they were there in a take of a breath very appreciated never had such a great experience ever the employees were Awesome

Everyone I encountered was friendly and willingly helpful. Everything was fresh- the hallways, the room, the dining area. Litterally no noise from other guests, which means my 9lb guard dog slept GREAT- we all rested well. Breakfast was hot and constantly refreshed.

We ran out of towels in the pool area. Minor issue that was taken care of.

The staff was kind and attentive! Breakfast was always great!

For the fees charged for my pet I expected better accommodations. There is really no grassy areas. Maybe investing in a small gated area were it's not filled with geese poop...it would be truly appreciated and feel like its worth the money..

Everyone was friendly and even though a renovation was happening, it didn't effect our stay inside the hotel at all. It is a very nice hotel, our kitchen had all the basics needed to prep a simple meal in room.

There was a fan over the bed which was awesome except it was on the highest speed and I couldn't figure out how to adjust it, which was minor but the only thing I could think of that wasn't great.

Breakfast was ok. Good variety. Children loved the waffles. We didn’t care for the eggs/egg dishes.

The only thing we didn’t like was our 1st room had a very strong fish odor. Housekeeping came a sprayed which helped a little. We extended our stay and our 2nd room wreaked if ciGarett’s. Those 2 things were a disappoint, but everything else was great!

the bathroom sink drain was leaking . the hotel staff offered us a different room but we were already unpacked so we made do over the weekend by placing the garbage can under it to catch the water

Great location with access to local restaurants and a short drive to the lake - excellent large suites comfy bed and pillows and TV in bedroom and lounge - hot breakfast included in price was very good

Nothing - it was all great

super clean, very pretty lobby, great kitchen in the king suite, loved the pool

the only problem I had was the coffee machine in the room leaked water everywhere. I had to clean it up and go down for coffee, but not that big of a deal
