Courtyard by Marriott Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square

The location of the hotel was fine even though it wasn't close to I-90. I selected this location for its better price over hotels near the interstate. The lobby was above average. The room and bathroom was pleasing, clean and set up adequately. The lady working the Bistro the morning of 7/2 was pleasant, efficient and expressed the impression that she liked working with customers. The ladies working at the registration desk were welcoming. The parking was close.

The carpet on the 3rd floor hallway was littered with small debris and the temperature of 75 degrees was too warm. The AC unit in room 304 was so loud I woke up thinking that an emergency helicopter was landing close by outside the window and it did not maintain the temperature that we set it at for the night. The charge of $14 to park with no valet is unnecessary and a turnoff in addition to a parking tax. Valet parking isn't needed because of the close proximity to the hotel and neither is the parking charge.

I was only there for one night. The Hotel has an excellent location within Syracuse. The room was great, and parking convenient. Price is pretty reasonable. Service at the hotel's Starbuck's was great. Would stay here again.

A bit confusing check in and the elevators seems to be like in different buildings, and the elevator lobby and cafe area seem lonely and out of sight, which didn't feel great in Downtown Syracuse.

The location was excellent and staff was friendly.

Definitely overpriced and outdated. We were woken up every time someone entered or left their room. we travel often and have not had such an issue even in hotels half the price. it definitely could have been a more comfortable stay. parking garage was right next to our window (terrible) so the blinds could not be opened or you would see right in and it was high traffic with people continuously walking by. we would not return and will think twice before depending on the name of Marriott again.

Hotel area and room was clean. Staff was nice. Great location for restaurants. Would stay here again.

Would have been nice for something small for breakfast to be included in the price. Other reviews I read before booking complained about the street noise. Can you hear it yes but you’re in downtown of a major city of coarse you can hear cars and stuff.

Good location, walking distance to restaurants and bars. Great hotel staff doing wonderful job despite the dealing Covid restrictions and cutbacks; quiet, clean rooms and public areas. Onsite pool is a bonus.

Amenities like on site restaurant and bar were closed due to Covid restrictions and cutbacks despite both Booking. com and Marriots own website stating that they were operational.

The location was phenomenal, close to everything. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was outstanding and the two women working at the “bistro” were excellent. Breakfast was not free but well worth it!

Cannot say anything negative except I wish we could stay here when we return at the end of February but the price increase for the weekend of February 25th makes that impossible.

Central location close to everything needed in town. Friendly staff and comfortable hotel. Rooms clean and a good size.

No real breakfast facilities. There was a coffee shop near reception but choices are limited and nothing exciting. Better off heading in to town for some breakfast.

I can't say I didn't like anything about the hotel. Unfortunately some of the local pubs and places are not tourist friendly.

I love the pool and gym. I also loved the location to everything we went to do. The beds were comfy. I would think for as much as it costs it would have at least a breakfast included.

The couch pillows and chairs are pretty dated, which normally is not a big deal to me. However, my guess is things have been cleaned so many times the material on the couch and couch pillows were blochy/stained which gives the feeling it's not clean. Everything else seemed clean so I am assuming stains from cleaning
