Comfort Inn Elizabeth City near University

THE BREAKFAST WAS GOOD WHEN I WAS ABLE TO HAVE BREAKFAST. I WAS TOLD THAT THE BROCHURE SAID IT ENDED AT 10AM DAILY BUT WHEN GETTING THERE 935AM I WAS TOLD BREAKFAST ENDS AT 930AM. I COULD SEE THE BREAKFAST BEING TAKEN AWAY BUT NOT ALLOWED TO ACCESS ANY OF THE FOOD ON THE CARRYING CARTS. EVEN THE ORANGE JUICE BAR WAS TURNED OFF AT 930AM AND COUJLD NOT ACCESS ANY JUICE ONLY COFFEE AND I DON'T DRINK COFFEE.

BREAKFAST ENDING DAILY AT 930AM INSTEAD OF 10AM DAILY!!

Breakfast was really good, especially the strawberry waffle and potato has and sausage. Room is beyond expectation, large and the layout is interesting and not boring. Location is strategic, near downtown Elizabeth city, shopping centers, restaurants and gas stations. Microwave and refrigerator are really nice extra.

Wifi connection could do better, it is not strong enough and sometime was spinning.

good selection. started earlier than expected. good coffee. I have stayed at multiple Comfort inns while traveling from AZ. this was the best. Every other one was either filthy, irritable staff etc. Had decided to try this one because of the review ratings. Will probably stay here on my way back to fl from CT

The staff was very friendly and attentive. I also appreciated having coffee available in the lobby 24 hours, as the in room coffee packets are very weak.

I understand that the breakfast was limited because of Covid, however, they need to remove the Danish and other frozen items way sooner than they do. Many of the pastries were still frozen. Also, for the price per night, there is no reason that they can't also offer the small, individual cereal boxers and individual milk cartons.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast lady was amazing and polite. She walked around while I was getting my breakfast saying Enjoy! Enjoy! Was a great way to start the day. The bed was fairly comfortable. The rooms could use updating from guest abuse but nothing hindered my stay. The location was great for me and the 7-11 out front was a sight for sore eyes when late night munchies kicked in.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Really pleasantly surprised. It was last minute booking but really impressed for the money excellent place to stay. Compared to where we are now and pay 2 times the amount at the.beach for a very poor customer service hampton inn Corolla wish comfort inn was here

The staff was FABULOUS! Nala and Megan (?) at the front desk we’re exceptional. friendly, helpful and so welcoming. Room was clean and huge.

the common areas are run down and the sink wouldn’t hold water.

great location, very clean, staff was super friendly, amazingly quiet, breakfast was outstanding- eggs, sausage, waffle maker, fresh fruit, yogurt, and the usual assorted breads, muffins, cereal.

can’t really think of a thing

The staff and management are eager to ensure an enjoyable stay. We had a malfunction with the tv and were put into a different room. Sadly, it was king bed, and as coworkers, we needed 2 separate beds. We were switched to a third room where everything worked. My earrings were left in the room, and my coworker called them as I drove. The head of housekeeping personally retrieved my earrings, and the manager mailed them back to me promptly. So very happy. They are my lucky earrings.

that the tv didn't work in the first room, which meant we had to pack our things back up and move to another room. The manager made it up to us, so we are very happy and will gladly stay here again!!

Loved my spacious king bed & the yummy full breakfast bar. The 7-11 right next door was yummy too. Doughty & brownies were tasty.

In my king size room, the window was directly infront of a motel in the back of the building. I had to keep the windows mostly shut.
