The Inn at Corolla

The staff was exceptional, and the continental breakfast was a huge plus! Also loved the location and the ease of getting to available amenities.

The room smelled. It didn't look like the photo at all. We were afraid to sit at the dining table because the chairs were so unstable. The ceiling fan made alot of noise that we couldn't have it on at night because it would keep me awake. Also,some of the deck boards need to be replaced as they are splintering and weak. My room was also not the cleanest! I stepped on a very small black screw that really hurt in stocking feet!

front desk people were less than helpful.I had problem with stopped up toilet about 7:00 pm and called front desk.Twice never got any one to answer phone .I called number for after hours help no answer. I walked to front desk lady was sitting doing nothing.I got a toilet plunger and fixed problem myself.Hour later someone knocks on door to see if I had problem fixed.Said yes and thanked him for checking on us.My reservations were for two adults and two boys ages 10&8.Wasn’t aware they were to share sofa bed for the stay

Amazing view with quick access to amenities and activities. Hotel provided a bottle of wine as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. You can walk to Walehead/lighthouse area along the water from the hotel. Would've also been great to bring the family as the room had a mini kitchen with a fridge.

Bed was firmer than i prefer and the pillows were rather flat. Continental breakfast was about what you'd expect (single serve pastries/cereal/Jimmy Dean microwave biscuits)

We had a queen room facing the lawn but it was adjacent to the verandah where they provided table/chairs and we sat enjoying the view of the water and the breeze. They provided a continental breakfast and was very good and nutritious.

The bathroom shower area may have a separation to prevent water spilling out; saying that i would note that our bathroom was probably for people needing help so additional blockage may not work for them.

We went to The Inn at Corolla lighthouse for a little mini honeymoon after of wedding. It was wonderful. I had no idea how awesome the location was there was a water sports place connected to the inn, and ice cream and coffee shop next door. The beach was an easy walk, but only a super easy drive to a free parking lot too. Every night we walked to restaurants and bars. I even lost my phone in the bay and the front desk worker came out and helped us fish it out, lucky me it worked after we fished it out! Everyone was so sweet and kind!

The location is awesome. Staff was welcoming & very accommodating with activities to do & where to eat. A great plus was access to the private beach. Great continental breakfast (maybe add hard boiled eggs for healthier choice).

Room had slanted roof so windows didn't open & tough to look out. We were offered 2nd floor when we asked but room was much smaller for more money. I think plants between rooms on deck would give a bit of privacy. TV small for size of room & too far from the bed. Bath towels could be upgraded. Budget style amenities for higher price rooms.

Really enjoyed our stay in Corolla! The faculty are so nice and helpful. This is also such a great location, easy parking, you can walk to the lighthouse, beach and some of the restaurants like Ike’s is so close. Also we were just about a mile from the entrance to where you can drive on the beach (w/ AWD car). It was so nice that we also got access to the bigger pools at the main Corolla resort, gym access and free bikes to use. Highly recommend getting a sound facing room, the sunsets are gorgeous (we had room 42 which was 2nd floor and at the end so perfect in my opinion, no noise issues). I will say to level your expectations, this is an Inn. It had everything we needed, comfortable and was clean. But if you’re looking for something fancier then might not be the place for you.

If I’m being picky, pillows were a little flat but we also could’ve asked for additional ones!

The Inn was extremely clean, both in the rooms and all over the grounds as well. The bathroom was nice and we liked the shower! The staff were so kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the sound side view!

The price was pretty high, but I also have no point of reference for the area- so I recognize that it may be a fair price. It was just more than I usually pay for a hotel. For the price, the room was outstanding. I am definitely not disappointed.

I loved the view from the balcony

I didn't like all the ramps, stairs, etc. to get to our room. It would also have been nice to have a table in the room to eat at & put things on. And I should have checked about smoking on the balcony before I reserved a room. If we go again, it will be a house. All in all, the motel was fine.

Room was nicely appointed and certainly large enough for the two of us. Bathroom was spacious and attractive. Bed was comfortable and we both slept really well. The breakfast host, Bruce, is awesome. Friendly, very client oriented, moves quickly but courteously to take care of each person in line. Great representation for the Inn. This was without a doubt one of our our best vacations...ever. We have timeshares and have stayed at some great places but the Inn At Corolla Lighthouse is an absolute delight. The location was perfect and the views of the sound and the sunsets were breathtaking. We were there over the 4th of July and got to enjoy the beautiful fireworks over the sound! We definitely plan to make this an annual visit. If you haven't visited, put it on your bucket list. You will not be dissapointed.

Umm... only thing we could say would be that the pillows could be a bit "fluffier". Seemed a bit pancaked for our taste.
