Hilton Garden Inn Raleigh Durham Airport

We had a very unexpected stay here. The airport hotel where we had originally planned to stay had no power when we went to check in there. After waiting several hours, we decided we had to make alternative plans and were able to book last minute at this hotel. The rooms were great. The shuttle service was friendly and efficient for both airport drop off and pickup. Sleep-and-fly parking rate was very affordable, especially considering that everything was arranged last minute. They really came through for us!

Location, sheets felt clean, staff were wonderful. I had requested a room change early in the morning and did not get back until 8:30p to follow up. I thought for sure I had lost the chance to switch, but they had communicated between shifts and had the room ready for my husband and I to switch into-quick and easy. It was such a relief!

The first room we had: the toilet would run every 10 min. Also it just wasn't as well kept- the towel hook from the door was missing, and there weren't washcloths in the room. It was the last room and the door for the stairs was VERY noisy, so unless someone had the awareness to gently close it, it would slam shut every time and wake me. Needs a device to soften the close or quieter locking mechanism. However, the staff was excellent at accomodations to switch out room for the second night.

I called before I got there to confirm the pool was open; which is the ONLY ONLY reason I booked here; I was told that yes it was open only to get there mind you it’s Saturday night and be told the pool was just close because “it failed inspection” on a Saturday at 8pm really. then I have this 25!hold on my credit card for 10 days lol after being told the hold is temporary it only last 2 business days, then told to contact my bank cuz it’s out of Hiltons control. Tragic experience

The woman at the reception desk both on the 16th when we arrived and she was there again when we returned for an overnight stay was absolutely wonderful. I wish I could have gotten her name so I could tell you exactly who she was. All of the staff was great, but she was exceptional! Look her up - when she was on duty so she gets an acknowledgement.

Absolutely enjoyed staying here. Free hotel pickup shuttle came right on time in less than 5 minutes after making a call to the front desk upon arrival at the airport. The Front desk team was very welcoming and extremely helpful and even allowed to check in early around 9:30am. Great hot breakfast and the restaurant on site had tasty options for lunch and dinner. Free juice bar was open in the lounge. Ambience was truly enjoyable. Room was very clean and cozy comfortable. Hotel location was great and convenient. Definitely will stay again ……

The decor was modern and stylish. Room was clean and very comfortable. Very close to airport. Shuttle service was on time at 5 am and took us right to our airline in only a few minutes. Will definitely stay here every time I need to fly out early. Parking for the week was an additional $25

We weren’t allowed to get any breakfast at 5am even though there were pastries and bagels out on the counter. The front desk attendant said she would get in trouble if she let us have any of the items. This didn’t and still doesn’t make sense to me.

Lovely hotel close to the airport. Friendly staff that offered water upon check-in and suggestions for restaurants close by.

I wish I had known the restaurant and bar were not operating. That was one of the main reasons for choosing the property. Pillows were, meh. 3 conditioners in bathroom instead of shampoo, conditioner, lotion.

Facilities were very good, we used the shuttle bus to collect and return a rental car and the two guys who drove the bus were very helpful plus the on site Guest Laundry facility was very useful.

The hotel looked a little tired and could have used some redecoration but that is being hyper-critical after what I am sure has been a difficult time for the hotel during the pandemic.

I thought it was clean and very much what I expected.

Check out was weird, the front desk guy was a little rude. It was 5:45am because I needed to catch a flight he basically yelled at me and told me all I had to do was leave the key on the desk. Then proceeded to make a big scene and ask if I needed a receipt. I am going to chalk it up to the early morning but it was not a good way to start my day of travel.

Perfectly located right next to the airport, up the street from Lake Crabtree, and only minutes from Falls Lake. Very convenient!! The lobby of the hotel was beautifully designed as well.

The hall carpets could be a better color. Double check that all the minuscule items are replaced from the previous guest because I was missing the usual mini shampoo and conditioner as well as some coffee and creamers. Not a huge deal because I could’ve asked for it.
