Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus-Easton Area

The staff were all very polite and welcoming. I was greeted by every staff member I passed. The location is hard to beat, across the street is Walmart and Sam's club. On the opposite side you have a large shopping plaza with many great restaurants. Less than 10 minutes away from Easton Mall and could walk there on a nice day. The inside of the property is very clean and neat. There is a large sitting area with a faux fireplace, mounted television, as well as some shelves with board games and books. Breakfast is served in the same area from 6-9am. It's a traditional American breakfast bar that was very good. There is a 24/7 snack bar (for pay) and microwave right at the front desk that was very helpful. They also had personal hygiene products and Tylenol, Advil, etc. The rooms were very clean and cozy and smelled very nice. The bathrooms were clean as well with a large, sliding glass door shower. The facilities seemed clean and properly maintained as well. The pool was heated and goes from 3'-5'. The 24/7 fitness room looked great with your average hotel equipment like treadmill, bikes etc.

The pictures should be updated to show there is no longer a jacuzzi in the pool room. We looked forward to spending some time there but shocked to see it had been covered up and replaced with flooring. The shower water took some time to heat up (around 2 minutes) but once it heated up it maintained heat and pressure.

Great please to stay Bennie is a very great guy he was there to make sure sure my room was up to standards very welcoming personality also I had the chance to meet Nyeema Is also a very welcoming person as well very attentive as well Oh yeah I can't forget my guy Francisco thank you for helping to get our tv back working due to the that ohio weather lol thank you guys for sure we will be back next year for sure p.s the softball guys from Florida lol

met our expectations and reminded us that Hampton ends were really a go to place for us. Room was spacious and comfy. Staff was quite accommodating and the breakfast was more than satisfactory with a lot of variety. we enjoyed the Teppanyaki grill style dining very short walk, next door 

The loud closing of the doors, which seems to be a fault of all hotels. Understanding that these are fire, safe, heavy/steel doors, we really wish they could come up with some solution so that it is not a constant “crash“ every time someone enters or exits their room, especially in the evenings and early mornings.

I have never been to Columbus so I had NO IDEA what I was was getting into with this hotel but OMG I LOVED IT!! First of all, what a perfect location. SO MUCH SHOPPING! It is close and convenient to EVERYTHING. I was also worried because there were kids everywhere running around, but there were zero issues with noise. My room was PERFECT. It was so comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was set up for travelers with shelves and storage. I loved that shampoo and conditioner so much I immediately ordered it from Amazon (expensive!). And the breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL. Biscuits and gravy! Capt. Crunch! The breakfast area was clean, organized and well stocked and it was FRESH. I was not expecting it to be so perfect.

This is a petty little comment that doesn't reflect on my outstanding experience, but I wish there was a little more fresh fruit for breakfast.

I liked my room. It was clean and stocked with lotions and soap in the shower.

I did not like the breakfast or food service. Breakfast meats were not cooked well. Bread products were hard and stale. There was no milk available and the machine was dripping all over. Products were not readily available. I was there on busy days and only a handful of this or that was placed out and gone right away. The waffle iron alarm was not working and our waffles were wayyyyyy over cooked. Instant oatmeal was not desireable, especially without milk or toppings.I worked at a Hampton inn recently and stayed at others post covid where there was an oatmeal crock of creamy hot oatmeal with packets of toppers.

Our room was huge, the biggest I've ever seen for a king with a pull out sofa. The common area was a fun place for me and the kids to relax and hang out while my husband got a little work done in the room. They have jumbo jenga and comfy sofa's so I just grabbed the lounge remote and relaxed while the kids played. It was great.

The mini fridge wasn't cold when we arrived so we had to turn it on. I was also warned that even though the area looked nice it wasn't safe to walk after dark, even to the gas station across the parking lot.

There was a problem with our reservation (through Booking.com) as we didn't have a reservation but I had the confirmation code from the 3rd party. It took 2 visits to the front desk and quite a bit of time - but we got the issue resolved and got the room at the rate we had booked. The room and the staff (esp at the front desk) and the breakfast were all wonderful!

It would have been more pleasant and not so time consuming if our reservation had been in your system - but the staff worked the problem and resolved the problem!

Breakfast was good! Liked the variety of options available. The service was phenomenal. Staff was always helpful and understanding throughout the stay. We were stranded due to the snow storm and they immediately extended our stay for the same discounted price that we had paid for the first night. Lovely people and great atmosphere!

Wish the room temps could have been manually adjusted. Also - in the fitness center, the heater smelled odd. Had a strange, musty scent that was off-putting at first. Once turned off, the smell eventually dissipated.

Honestly? I rated you all 5 stars because I did have a great experience. There was a slight water issue when we arrived, my buddy has a cane, and you made sure that we stayed on the 1st floor due to the elevators being out. That was not an issue at all, things happen. All in all, room was literally the nicest I’ve ever stayed for that price range. Staff was incredibly nice, the area was perfect.

Literally nothing. I was comfortable, y’all were incredibly kind and nice. Great stay.

Near shopping with east access to freeways. The bed was comfort, the room was spacious. There was a lot of shopping nearby.

No easy access to additional parking in the rear as you were only supposed to use the front entrance. The bedside electrical outlet was not functioning although the usb ports were. The breast buffet had okay selections but the scrambled eggs were dry pellets of eggs.
