Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus Polaris

Customer service is top notch, check in was a breeze and Jill at the front desk was absolutely amazing. As she was explaining the pool hours and rules and talking about the room I mentioned I brought my daughter for her birthday for a little girls night away. Jill upgraded our room and gave my daughter a birthday treat! The room was absolutely perfect. Clean, relaxing, roomy. Amenities in the room included a refrigerator, microwave and small coffee maker. Stocked with plenty of towels, wash cloths and hand towels. 10/10 would recommend and will be back!

I was a little disappointed in the breakfast. Selection was wonderful but the biscuits were too hard so couldn't eat the sausage gravy I chose. This would not deter me from staying breakfast is free and there are other options. Hot tub was murkey and had a pungent smell, was not warm. Needs cleaned and re-chlorinated. Pool was good, not very warm. Since a hot tub is not a needed amenity this again would not deter me from booking.

Convenient location close to lots of things but not busy or loud. Bed was comfortable.

Property seemed older and not as nice as neighboring hotels. Pool was clean but need a deep cleaning or to be repainted because it looked old and gross. Halls smelled really strongly of weed for a few hours each day. Room was not cleaned well before our stay, last guest forgot dirty wadded up clothes in the dresser and they were not removed by housekeepers. When we told the front desk he seemed unbothered and said they would remove them AFTER we left… we were there for a few days so that was weird and gross.

The hotel stay was great I came for a night stay to meet with family and the location was perfect. We had plenty of restaurants and mall within short distance. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The pool and hot tub area was also clean. The food was also great. The Christmas decorations and fireplace was beautiful. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The only down side was that there were not enough luggage carriers we had to make a few trips but other than that it was great stay.

The staff person on duty when we arrived, was ready and very friendly. The breakfast was just as I remembered from years ago. Eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, juices, and hot oatmeal. Great variety. I think Hampton Inn and Suites is a reliable brand you can trust.

I didn't know the location was 18 miles North of Columbus. I should have checked. Nice area just not on 70.W.

I thought the hotel was nice and the room was clean and comfy. The staff was friendly. The restroom across from the elevators was in need of service, used the restroom in our room.

Pool was a little dirty and the hot tub was out of service.

The room nice with plenty of space for 4 adults and a child.

Parts of the room was a little warm a night with the air on. The pool area was nice except for a group of children taking over the whole pool throwing a football across the entire pool hitting my 3year old granddaughter in the head and screaming very loudly one evening

The breakfast was wonderful and a great variety of food. The pool was warm and the hot tub was fantastic!

The bathroom lights seemed to have been “haunted”. Turning on by themselves at various times throughout the night. Every time I would get out of bed to shut them off - a few hours later they would just turn back on……👻

Actually we ended up going farther north for breakfast. I looked at it and thought it looked fine. A lot of starch with the bagels toast and muffins etc. Maybe you should break it up sometime with make your own breakfast burritos or bacon in lieu of sausages. Or have breakfast pizzas. Or biscuits and gravy to break up the menu sometime.

we had 2 rooms. one of the rooms had a default in the lock and our children were put in another room overnight and did not have access to their “things” until the next morning when s tech came in and was able to fix the problem

The hotel itself was great

After a certain time, there is absolutely no food options in this area. Every restaurant was closed by 11pm on a Saturday except for steak and shake. Would choose a different location just for this reason alone.
