Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris Hotel

The staff was amazing, friendly, and helpful. The outside area was gorgeous. Food at the restaurant was very good and larger portions than expected, far better than any food at a hotel we've been to. We only stayed 2 nights and still received room service (hasn't happened at others unless staying more than 3 nights). Would choose this hotel every time.

Only other thing I could have possibly hoped for was an outside pool but it's Ohio so best bet for any place is indoor pool.

Very beautiful hotel. But would never ever stay at a Renaissance Hotel again.. My total bill was 463.00 for two nights and that was fine with me but they charged my checking account 1350.00 now I’m having to waiting 5-7 days for them to return my own money, that they r using for who knows what..BEWARE!! NEVER AGAIN will I stay at a Renaissance…They did the same thing to my brother… So

Nice contemporary finishes in rooms . Great staff at all levels. Special thanks to Rochelle in restaurant who went out of her way to make our dining experience special. Also thanks to Antonia who assisted with our luggage from room to elevator.

Water pressure too low in sink. Inadequate bathroom lighting - overhead lighting at sink too harsh. Need secondary mirror near a wall outlet outside the bathroom for curling iron and makeup purposes. Small fridge was set too low. Had to pull it from the cabinet and adjust temp setting control on back side. Need to have adjustment knob inside the fridge so guest can adjust if necessary without pulling unit from enclosure. There was no lunch offered on Saturday during my stay. This is not acceptable in a top tier hotel.

The food was amazing. The room had very nice decor and was extremely clean. Very spacious. The staff was helpful, kind, and courteous. The bartender was attentive, even though she was running back and forth serving others. I was attending a conference, and the front desk staff was awesome at making sure I could get in my room a bit earlier than planned. Check out was easy and the staff seemed truly interested in whether I enjoyed my stay.

I have nothing to complain about.

The location was a beautiful setting with a fountain and a little walking trail out back. The outdoor seating was a great touch too. Seems like it’s a brand new hotel. Staff were helpful and respectful. They all wore masks throughout our stay which showed a level of respect. Rooms were clean and modern, decor was tasteful and elegant. All in all a fantastic place to stay. Honestly I can’t praise the place enough! We stayed in two other hotels on this trip and this one was by far outstanding

Breakfast for me wasn’t the best experience, because of covid it’s table service with a shortened menu, all that is fine, but it’s all eggs... I’m not an egg fan so pancakes or waffles it is. My wife’s eggs were not right, they were very quick to offer substitute and even comped the meal. Their Customer service was awesome!

The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room bathroom was upscale and well designed. The lobby area and bar/ lounge area is awesome.

Our room was very, very far from the ice machine and elevator. The pool area becomes painfully loud with even a small group of kids playing. The elevators move quite slowly.

Exceptionally friendly staff. Great food and selection.

The pool room was very nice with large and numerous windows, however, the pool itself was dark, very dark green, and had no underwater lights. If I were going to change only one thing about this hotel, it would be to paint the pool a light color. Otherwise, the hotel was absolutely perfect!

Close to multiple locations for dining. Quiet and very clean.

only thing that was a extremely minor issue was the bed next to window seemed to be worn down or broken. It squeaked whenever I moved and when sitting or lying in bed felt as if I was going to roll out onto floor and nightstand. I had to sleep in middle as to not feel as if I was rolling out.

Convenient easy stay as conference was located on the property. Rooms were unique, clean and modern.

Front desk staff was not friendly or engaging and appeared to less than happy dealing with check in. It by no means reflected service or the property

The staff were amazing from the minute we arrived. After a long journey from Northern Ireland we were greeted with bottles of water and snacks for my children and a warm welcome. Madison and Linda were amazing and made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to help finding activities for the kids to do over Halloween. They are a credit to the hotel. Rooms were beautiful, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here and would stay again!
