My recent stay at the Rose Heart Inn was an absolute delight. This small, family-run hotel offers only a few rooms, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in warmth and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed as if we were long-lost family members. The inn's ambiance transported us back in time, almost a century ago, making us feel right at home. The attention to detail in recreating this bygone era is remarkable, and it truly adds to the overall charm. The breakfast, tailored to our personal preferences, was a highlight of our stay. It was evident that the innkeepers took pride in providing a delicious meal that left us energized and ready for the day ahead. Traveling with my daughter and our miniature schnauzer, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms, offering ample space for all of us to relax comfortably. Our stay was regrettably short, as we were passing through, but we have already made up our minds to return. The Rose Heart Inn is a hidden gem, and we can't wait to experience its warm embrace once again. Highly recommended! Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our visit truly memorable.

The ambience of the inn was fantastic. The entire place is absolutely stunning. They were more than willing to accommodate diet restrictions during breakfast, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The location is within walking distance of a fantastic little ice cream shop called the Sweet Spot. It is also a very easy drive to get to the Columbus zoo from the inn. This place is a perfect weekend get away

The only thing that we didn't really enjoy was the main intersection in town, it's built to be a roundabout but they messed up by adding traffic lights and the Washington Monument.

I enjoyed the tour that we were given upon arrival. Breakfast was delicious!! I really enjoyed getting to know our host over breakfast. The room was beautiful and I thought the decorations were spot on for the vibe of the bnb.

This is mostly on me; however, I thought that the surrounding town would have more to do including restaurants and little shops. After googling the area, I believed that it was a small town with a few activities and “cutesy” restaurants. However there are about 4 restaurants in the area that were open on a Monday which was a little disappointing.

Wednesday breakfast was quite nice with fruit & yogurt parfait, french toast & sausage. Thursday was continental with pound cake, assorted fruit & yogurt. Had good meals at local Mexican restaurant, and a sports bar.

TV was frustrating - could not watch shows we wanted to see, and volume was set very low and could not be adjusted. Room heat setting was quite warm and could not be adjusted down. Shower/tub floor was very slippery and no mat available for use.

Amazing place! They really stick with the theme and all decor is in pristine shape. Very very clean. I am clean freak and usually have a very hard time staying at other places besides my house. It was so clean I even utilized the amazing jacuzzi tub in the room-which is unheard of for me. Top it off owner made an amazing breakfast-not just bagels. Homemade parfait and French toast with caramel drizzle. Love it!

From the putting green, the gazebo, the wrap around porch with swing, and the frog pond to the luxurious bedroom, spa tub, and gorgeous sitting room, everything exceeded our expectations. I mistakenly told the Rose Heart Inn I'd be many hours later than I was and they were able to speedily accommodate us. The breakfast the next morning was spectacular. We came down for a Mid-Ohio race weekend, but race or no race we will be back again. My 8-year-old said it was like staying in a dollhouse and that she felt like a queen.

Beautiful Victorian house in a quaint town in central Ohio. Very peaceful setting . The host was a great conversationalist and we spent an excellent morning chatting about many subjects. The meal was delicious and well balanced. We enjoyed all of the parts of our stay and will be back again when we travel through the area again.

I cannot think of a failing worth mentioning

The location was great for our purposes of attending a nearby festival but otherwise would not be a choice. The breakfasts served were very relaxing and enjoyable for the opportunity to visit with other guests! The room comfort was great with a good bed and mattress, fun to have a spa tub with jets, nice room size proportions in the bathroom and bedroom. We loved the back yard area with green frogs in a small water feature with fountain !

We were trying to attend a nearby tour and the breakfast time was delayed, which kept us from getting to an event on time.

It was great bed and breakfast! It was a great getaway weekend far from noise! We found a great winery 10 mins away, Bunkers Mill, I recommended it!

Food options in Mt. Gilead were limited on a Saturday night, the one BBQ was good! We found a great winery 10 mins away, Bunkers Mill, I recommended it!

The breakfast was excellent! Tasty and delightful conversation in addition!! Problems with the AC addressed right away the night before!! Bed very comfortable and cleanliness was superb!!! Enjoyed the many antiques and eye candy distributed around the Inn! Also enjoyed the ice cream parlor just around the corner from it!! Peanut butter chocolate ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle cone—yum!! Hope to have an opportunity to visit the Rose Heart Inn again in the future!!

Everything was as good as could be expected from this charming Victorian bed and breakfast!!
