My Place Hotel-Marion, OH

We were pleasantly surprised when we checked in and the desk clerk offered us to become members so that we could have early check in and late check out at no additional cost. When we walked into the room we had no idea it had a full kitchen with a full size refrigerator. There was dish soap, kitchen towels and paper towels. We were blown away with how clean everything was. The bed was extremely comfortable and there is even a recliner chair. The roll out table was great too. So many little details of the room made it so nice. The staff was extremely nice. Very happy and will stay there again. The price was amazing! Even have outside grills and an ice maker in your room.

Only issue was someone checked out and the staff must have entered our room by mistake. We didn’t know and our key cards were deactivated. So when we got back to our room our cards wouldn’t work. Then when we got back in the cleaning staff tried to enter because their list of rooms to clean showed we had checked out. It’s all good.

Nothing, aside from unsmiling staff, who became more pleasant AFTER l mentioned this to your 'travelling manager', Sally. Sally is excellent, kind, smart as a whip, listens, is responsive and sees what is going on in this Marion hotel. I stayed 4weeks last year, 5 this year and will continue each summer. The maintenance man is excellent, so helpful and kind, solved my issues immediately. A real asset to the hotel.

I did not have the breakfast, but I did have coffee in my room. I did like being able to do that. I tried to order breakfast at the desk but they wanted to charge my card and I didn’t have it with me. I had prepaid for my room so I don’t understand why they couldn’t have just charged me when I checked out.

I really don’t care for the way you offer breakfast. Most hotels do not charge for this and I have stayed at hotels who offer many more choices.

Location is good. The concept of MyPlace seems to be accommodating longer-term stays, business customers and people with special needs. That includes me, as I often travel on business and I like to prepare much of my own food, even on the road. My room had a full kitchen, which was a pleasant surprise. It was like a studio apartment.

The construction materials seemed built to a price, rather than to a quality level. So I fear this property may go downhill fairly quickly. Paint, furnishings, carpet, etc. all seemed out of a 1970s movie. Relatively new but in an old style, almost like a mobile home, and getting banged up pretty fast.

The room was furnished well & spacious. Bathroom spacious & clean, nice shower head. Quiet. Nice location.

Microwave breakfast. No real cream for coffee. I did understand the breakfast would be microwaveable frozen food from reading reviews- wasn’t sure if it was a COVID related thing. Breakfast was available near by. We chose your hotel purposefully for the quiet location.

I liked they had snacks you could get all hours of the night. There was always someone at the front desk. The room was nice modern and clean! Beds were comfortable. Couldn’t ask for anything better

A little smell when I walked in. There were several dogs at the hotel for a dog show, but confirmed my room wasn’t a pet friendly room

the property is brand new so of course it was exceptionally clean!! we love the kitchenette with full size fridge and 2 burner stove. The location is excellent as well!

You had to “pre order” breakfast that was delivered the day before and then you microwaved for an additional charge. We tend to stay at places that have a good breakfast to prevent having to go out.

Friendly, clean, nicesest staff members, what can i say. They took pride in there rooms. Beautiful rooms. They love dogs. Supplied poop bags. Had food you can pepare in your room... Very nice landscaping. Will look for them in my travels. Nice priceing.

Ok was double charged for the room because I brought my dog with us and needed to pay for her stay and they recharged me for the room also Have talked to them where they reimbursed me the charge but then again charged me for the room which paid for in advance!!!!

The facility was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. They were consistently helpful and friendly. Especially Corey, Pjay, and Sally, who kept me in fresh decaf coffee after midnight. Thank you, guys.
