Travelodge by Wyndham Depoe Bay

Very clean and friendly, kind staff

No air conditioning. Felt like heat was always on even though heat wasn’t on. Had to open both door and balcony to get ocean breeze to flow through and cool room off every day even though outside temperatures were cool. Soft bed was nice, but sitting on edge mattress wasn’t stiff enough, I fell off bed because edge bed too soft. Woke everyone when fell off bed while asleep, got bruises but otherwise fine.

Close proximity to everything, across from city park. View great from third floor. A little noisy from cars but after sunset the sound of waves against rock wall incredible. Room very clean only one thing that could be improved is a magnetic screen shield on patio door to keep pesky bugs out. They have plenty of parking and a cart for transporting luggage to room. Employees were very nice and helpful. Excited for next year's visit.

Friendly family staff and good location Our room had a tower fan to use

Rooms had all of the basics, however the shampoo and conditioner containers were empty. There was a dirty washcloth behind the bathroom door, so I questioned if the floors had been cleaned. All the drawers in the dresser had debris in them. And there are no AC’s in the rooms so our room was probably 85 degrees and very uncomfortable There is also lots of noise from the constant traffic on the 101 highway

This place was amazing. The location was perfect for everything we had planned in the area. The room was very spacious and the view of the ocean was the cherry on the top. I definitely will stay here again

Really nothing. The room did have a slight smell of dirty socks but after airing it out a bit it wasn't too bad and there were a few strands of long black hair in the bathtub but that didn't bother me, I just sprayed some of my sanitizer spray and rinsed out the tub.

Wonderful place! The rooms are very nice, plenty of space, clean, comfortable, nicely updated, lovely view. The front desk lady is exceptionally nice, welcoming and amazing! Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Pet friendly.

Only thing we didn't like was the floors, they're updated to that new laminate stuff that leaves your feet black, I wish it had been carpet. It is located right next to the main highway but I didn't find the sound bothersome, quiet otherwise

The location was great with a stunning view of the ocean across the street. It was quiet despite being on the main street/highway. The temperature in the room was perfect, the water pressure perfect, the bed comfortable, and staff friendly, and I am known for noticing and pointing out small problems so this was a very nice surprise. This is where we will stay again unless the price goes up significantly.

Surprisingly nothing.

Amazing view. We saw a whale from the balcony!!!!!!! I appreciated the peace and quiet listening to the ocean with the door to balcony open. The manager is very nice. She lives on site and is very professional.

I know they use a cleaning service not in house maids but the bathroom could have been cleaner (There were long dark hairs in shower, etc). TV didn't work but manager tried to fix it.

Joann at the front office is most pleasant and courteous. The discount that she offered was very fair for the situation of their TV news channels being on the blink for 2 nights. The ocean view and sounds of the ocean was most pleasant. Granted, there is some HWY 101 traffic noise--the same is true at the Ester Lee Motel and at twice or more the price. Currently: pristine ocean front motels in Central Oregon coast are very high--up to $270/night. Many places in SF, CA can be enjoyed for less than $200/night.

All was well...overall

I went out to the coast for my birthday and it was fantastic. I told the staff I'd like to be able to view the ocean, got a spot on the top floor, and it was everything I wanted. I woke up every day to the sounds of the ocean. Also: the shower was absolutely fantastic.

The wifi was average, but I honestly didn't need it that much? I mostly needed a place to unwind and it was perfect for that. No big complaints!

Great parking. Super close to Depoe Bay and the spout. Very friendly staff. Other then the floor being covered in sand it was clean. We had a fire place in our room!

Ask for the 3rd floor! I booked an “ ocean view” room.. ended up on the third floor with the ocean being behind a bunch of trees and cars. The floor of our room was COVERED in sand. Had to start wearing shoes in our room.
