Garibaldi Inn at the Bay

Location, room size (handicap handbars) shower, staff nice - they even gave us a towel, bowel, and in the lobby they gave our dog a doggie bone. We didn't use the bowl or the towel. The management gave us a recommendation for food. There was a truck that was close to the motel. I was told it has great fish dishes. They were closed when I called. I think it was 5pm. A friend of ours told us that the Fisherman's Korner Restaurant. It was super, especially clam chowder-best I tasted on our Oregon Coast trip.

The shower water drained onto the bathroom floor and to the entry way of motel. :-( There was no table. Breakfast was eaten on the bed. Dinner was eaten at the marina, on a marina picnic bench. It was a very nice place to eat. All & all it was a nice motel. It just needs a little TLC

I liked that the room was dark enough to sleep. Most hotel places don’t make rooms dark enough. We enjoyed the room upgrades that were not pictured online.

There was no known breakfast there, would have been nice to have something. The bed was a bit uncomfortable Because it was too hard. I didn’t like people smoking in front of my car when we were even parked next to the building corner spot. I didn’t bring really cold when we first got there but it did warm up in not too much time. I would prefer to walk into a room that’s at least semi heated.

Location was main reason for stay. Check in process was amazing, you receive a dog bowl, treat, doggy towel and poop bag. Awesome front desk.

Cleanliness, remodeled room, close to everywhere we wanted to go, close to restaurants, friendly staff, very helpful, bed was very comfortable and the amount of pillows was just right.

The t.v. was too dark and the instructions were not clear, not able to find programs easily.

Pet friendly if you like to bring companion. 15 per pet a night! Doesn't say that anywhere on thier site so I'm telling you. They had these sweet like bowls, bag, dog treat and a towel for your dogs. And the owners was so proud with a smile on her face I couldn't deny it! So sweet. Very clean and mostly quiet. Yummy restaurant right next door. 😋 we will be back!

Second night at 330 am somebody was running around upstairs. Thought it was a lil late to call and complain. But like what are you doing running around at 330 am? Not properties fault. I had booked in had dogs the owners were a lil wierd kinda watched us unpack which was odd. Toilet sits funny in the bathroom..no coffee in the room.

Room was clean and loved that there was NO carpet. The fixtures had been updated and the furniture looked like it had been replaced and the chairs was clean and no stains. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Could not find fault with anything

Very accommodating and friendly staff. Reasonable hotel for the price. A plus is the shared parking lot restaurant. Also friendly and delicious.

We couldn’t figure out how to turn our television back on after we pressed a wrong button. I’m sure the staff would have helped but it did put a damper on our night. Maybe some instructions would be helpful.

Zero amenities. There was a microwave, but zero utensils, cups, or anything that would make eating in your room slightly more comfortable.

Super clean and friendly staff! Close to coffee, restaurants and walking distance to the marina. Also, they were really dog friendly! They provided towels specifically for our pups, a water bowl and treats!

The beds were super clean but also super firm. Softer pillows would have been nice too.

The hosts Gordon and Martha are exceptionally hospitable. Great breakfast. The location is among the most beautiful places on the Oregon coast. The Nehalem River flows just outside our windows and there's a dock with kayaks for an easy paddling adventure into a lovely estuary.

The only thing that could have been better is that we could stay a week or more rather than just a couple of days. The place is so relaxing and beautiful we didn't want to leave.
