Maverick Motel

We had to make an emergency trip to help family at the last minute. Found a deal on Booking.com and jumped on it. We had a late check-in, and Kenneth checked us in. He was welcoming, very helpful, and he's one of those guys who just brightened a rough day with his joy and humor. Thanks, Kenneth! The hotel was clean, and the beds, pillows were comfortable. Its an easy drive from the freeway.

To nit-pick I'd say the concrete on the stairways is chipping and flicking away and parking was tight in a full size truck. Again that is nit-picking.

We live an hour out of town and were just looking for a cheap place to stay in town to avoid having to drive into town during a snow storm. Maverick really exceeded expectations. For the price we were surprised at the comfort of the beds and the cleanliness of the rooms. We also enjoyed the location as a primary reason for our visit was the Snowflake Parade and the hotel was on the route. We were also very surprise by housekeeping services. many hotels have done away with daily services and were very surprised to receive a knock on our door asking if we needed anything. Very nice.

I thought it very odd the front lobby was still closed off for Covid and that the free breakfast advertised was still closed off. We had to get our room key outside through a window and it felt very impersonal. My wife and I are in a bit of disagreement on the TV. She really likes direct TV and enjoyed watching HGTV, but I think installing Roku TVs would be a cheaper way to entertain as many guest probably have their own streaming services they can connect to and the Roku channel itself has many options and is free with the Roku TV.

The beds are comfy and I appreciate the convenience of a microwave and refrigerator. The location is awesome and I like the quick check in and out process, as well. The individual room air conditioner and heater is a plus.

Parking is always a challenge when traveling, but there was not really a place for vehicles with trailers or long beds to park. I did not personally have a problem with parking, but I did notice that there were some vehicles parked oddly.

The property is within a short walking distance of a charming downtown and a nice, small public park. The location also provides easy access to the rest of the city. The rooms were clean, and the housekeeping staff cleaned every day.

My room, with single king bed, was quite small. I travel alone, so that doesn't bother me. There is no breakfast offered, but the price was worth it. There are many coffee shops and bakeries in the area.

Breakfast is no longer available. Location is good. With the exception of the day manager, staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

When I called the office to extend my stay, I was told that I had to extend through booking. com since that was the way I originally booked. The next day, the day manager insisted I must pack up and leave by 11am and check back in at 4pm since I did not book the extra day through the motel directly and was extremely rude This was not what I was told when I called the day before. I am disabled. Also, a handicapped parking spot would be helpful.

I know it a no frills hotel, but it is hospitality still. the staff has the " they doing is a favor " attitude for us keeping them with a paying job. I get it, is is a slummy hotel, but be nice to those that keep you employed. Not big deal but at checkout their is no how was it etc., and I left the key on counter and was essentially scolded for not seeing the sededy, notel motel key box. I almost threw it on the ground and said get it yourself. so I will never be back and will tell everyone to not go there. cheers and keep up the worse than motel 6 hospitality:)

They advertise as the best value lodging in Klamath Falls, and I have to agree. Room was moderate size, king bed with clean linen and clean bathroom. Basic coffee machine in room. Traveling through, so certainly served my purpose, and would recommend.

I tend to like places that offer a breakfast but would not trade the value of the room to add this. Also, the Klamath Falls Grill is just 5-10 mins walk away and is awesome.

I like to stay here anytime I am in the area, because the check in/out is quick and the rooms are usually clean and quiet. The parking is suitable for the number of rooms and the spaces are wide enough to get in and out of the vehicle without too much trouble.

The lobby is still closed due to COVID-19 safety measures, which is appreciated, but I do look forward to when there is a breakfast option again. Even a quick pre-packed to go with fruit and a muffin would go a long way to getting the day started right.

The room was well furnished for a travelling person. It was also attractive. It was a quiet location and very convenient to shops and restaurants/bars. The shower was high enough for a taller person. There was a good sized fridge, a desk and a nightstand to use and the best coffee I've had for some time. I had a long trip and came in late. I'm not great with directions but the staff was so kind and helpful in helping me find.. the hotel. I would choose this place as my Klamath Falls stayover every time.

Amazing value with all the amenities such as a microwave and a refrigerator hair dryer, coffee maker, iron,desk,chairs. There is no pool or spa. Close to the old downtown area for walking and good restaurants and a bakery.Large room (300’+) upgrade well worth it. Less than $58 with all taxes.

Near an industrial area and roads where there are occasional trucks passing at about 6 AM in the morning. Wi-Fi not working but I did not ask staff to correct because I had a personal hotspot. The last time I stayed here the remote for the TV wasn’t working. But again I did not ask staff to correct. Only cosmetic area that needs improvement is the door to the bathroom. It should either be painted white or replaced with a paneled door to match the front door. Overall the room was in excellent condition!
