Hampton Inn Bloomsburg

The best, friendliest, hard working staff we’ve seen. Cleanest rooms and dining/breakfast area, too-spotless. Dog friendly, with dog cleanup stations, and felt very much at home with our large Labrador. (we were even asked if our dog could have bacon, at breakfast. our dog didn’t want to go home after that.) Pool and hot tub a nice way to unwind after a long day. PS: excellent complimentary cookies in the lobby.

It will be renovated this fall. if I can point out things I’d like changed: tub height and floor height are off-can hurt your back as you step out of tub enclosure, as the floor is lower than it seems, and is jarring. A better table to eat, while in room. Not all rooms have mini fridge, but that’s nice to have, as well as a microwave. More towel bars, or a shelf for personal items, by bathroom sink. (I’m really searching, here. The tub height should really be addressed, though.)

The bed was enjoyable also the work space and the extra lounge chair for a great addition. the bathroom was a great size. the pool was at a comfortable temperature and the whirlpool was clean

There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room and the pillows are soft but not comfortable

Breakfast was delicious! Nice variety. Eating area bright and cheery with lots of views of the outside; nice touch with the bird feeder outside! Saw many beautiful birds feeding. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Close access to interstate 80. Ordered dinner in from Original Italian Pizza; delicious!

Air temperature in the pool area seemed too warm. Water temperature was nice. Kids enjoyed the pool.

Great location if you're headed to Knoebel's, Bill's Bike Barn or Cats in Bloom. Good breakfast, indoor pool open late, very pleasant staff, 7-11 right across the street. My only complaints would be the long wait to check in, though it appeared to be a system/computer issue, and a weird odor on the 2nd flr that cleared the next day. Otherwise, we would stay here again. Nice vibe in the hotel as everyone was clearly there for fun stuff in the area.

Odor & 45 min check in, but those were both probably random & not commonplace.

Location was good for our needs (about 20 minutes from Knoebel's Amusement Park.) Check-ins up to midnight was convenient since we went to Knoebel's first. Front desk clerk (Matt) was very friendly, informative, and helpful. On arrival, we were offered cold water bottles and fresh chocolate chip cookies. Extra towels and toiletries were available right at the front desk, instead of having to call and wait for someone to bring them. Indoor pool and whirlpool were nice, and not crowded in the evenings. No room service, but had mini fridge in room; many restaurants nearby, including Olive Garden 10 minutes away. Parking was right outside the building.

I wish they would have had breakfast until 11:00 - we just couldn't get up and dressed by 10:00. (Our fault, LOL.) Family members who have stayed here before have told us that it is awesome - sorry we missed it.

Matt MacDonald, manager, went above and beyond to help make our stay pleasant in spite of some difficulties at our residence nearby (10 miles--unfinished remodeling upon our return from vacation).

Carpet in room somewhat dirty likely due to pet policy.

The staff was awesome. So friendly and informative. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bloomsburg parents get a discount for rooms. Close to Bloomsburg University. Breakfast was ok.

The air conditioner didn't get cool enough and was loud. Rooms are pricey and dated looking.

The staff were excellent in handling a problem about my reservation and got thing sorted out to my satisfaction.

I wasn't at all happy with the price. Maybe it was because of a very popular fair that was taking place. We were there for a wedding so didn't have much of a choice.

Loved the fact hanpton inn hosted my daughter's annual hotel stay for her birthday...including the patio for her cake celebration the ability to have our guests attend in person will be more than willing to do it again next year..

Can't name a thing... Staff was courteous and kind...

Everything looks nice and clean... And it looked good that they took time to clean and the hot tub or spa was nice and clean this time
