Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Shamokin Dam - Selinsgrove

I had arrived early and was quite generously allowed to check in. YMMV quick and easy process - They even gave me a ground floor room which helped immensely. large room appeared recently remodeled, good bed and plenty of seating. sorry did not use any motel amenities :IE pool etc.

nit picky --- the parking lot layout made it difficult to park in a spot outside my room due to a narrow area in the parking lot. I had to enter and circle the building to easily park. good location for my in town business.

Everything is always comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Pool is great.

Little hiccup in one room with the bathroom door handle coming loose and sticking a child in the bathroom. The 2nd room had the fridge defrost all over the floor. Management aware. Things happen. One other question was why did they stop the free breakfast? I'm told it was a Corp decision to stop coffee pots in room fridge/freezer in room and stop continental breakfast. There were an abundant amount of restaurants in the area so not a total problem. We will continue to book here going forward for our family reunion. Thanks again for having us year after year.

Location is excellent. Beds/bedding/pillows extremely comfortable. Water pressure in showers excellent. Flooring on main room. TV and cable availability. Microwave, Refrigerator, hair dryer in room.

Small breakfast selection especially for drinks, no tables for breakfast. Room walls could use fixing. Floors in stall not swept and cleaned well at corners. Shower curtain had several torn spots on top between ring holes.

wonderful handicap, assessable room! Staff was fabulous and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

convenient location to all our offsite vacation plans. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and fun things to do of within 5 to 10 miles.

The front desk staff was accommodating, the facilities were kept clean. The pool was beautiful.

There were some unsavory guests hanging out in the pool area in the evenings. They were loud and obnoxious, which made us not want to be near them.

It was clean, quiet, and affordable. The staff was helpful and available whenever we needed something. And the Mexican restaurant, El Torito, attached to the hotel was excellent.

Honestly the worst thing about this place were the potholes in the parking lot. They weren’t that bad though, and I don’t hold it against the hotel — potholes are a regular occurrence in the northeast. That’s about the only negative thing I can think of about our stay.

The accomodation has greatly improved - freshly painted. Very clean

When calling to request a late check in I spoke to a person that was difficult to understand and did not seem familiar with how to handle my request.

It was ok .not much to it. But for what I needed it was fine. The front desk person was awesome very nice guy. He was very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again if I was to come back. Loved the location.

That I got a room on the lower level & didn't have to deal with stairs.

The ice machine didn't work & my room was not cleaned & got clean towels. And cancellations are not allowed. Every hotel I stayed at if I had to cancel I was given a refund & they charged my credit card right away instead of after my stay.

We ate a wonderful meal at the Mexican restaurant attached to the Econo Lodge. We got a bag each morning of pastries which was nice. Our bed was awesome! I didn’t have any back problems! Thank you for the wonderful bed!

I didn’t like our pillows! There was 2 pillows per bed and they were fluffy with no support. I put my head on the pillow and my head went flat. This is my only complaint.
