Waynebrook Inn

The inn is on a main road, but it is not noisy at night. Though old, the inn has charm as it has kept some of the original furnishings - a sweeping staircase that can be used instead of the elevator. The bedroom was spacious and the bed comfy. The bathroom though small was adequate for my needs. I skipped the offered breakfast which was continental as I like a hearty breakfast in the morning. I did eat in the pub/bar each night and the burgers were very good. All of the staff were very nice, friendly, and informative. I would stay there again if in the area, as the inn is convenient to the Amish countryside and to Lancaster.

The bathrooms could be renovated as they are outdated.

The inn itself is charming - the owners have done a great job of incorporating modern conveniences and amenities into a property dating to the Civil War. The room was small but very cozy and nice for a couple, and it had everything we needed - the small fridge even had a freezer compartment. The bathroom was quite small but fine for one person at a time. We were here to visit the Classic Car Mall in Morgantown and this location is very convenient for that. The continental breakfast has a nice selection and eating breakfast on their large porch was an added benefit. We would stay here again when in this area.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

The Waynebrook Inn was a cute little historical place to stay for a couple nights. The staff was excellent at helping us (especially checking in past midnight, thank you!!) and fixing our room keys when they didn't work. The bed and pillows were comfy, the bathroom was clean, and the AC was nice and cold!

The breakfast was a little sparse but we did come in towards the end. We also wished it was available past 10am, but that's what we get for sleeping in haha. The shower was also pretty small but water pressure and temp were good. No hairdryer available

Check in was easy. Room had a beautiful Country Inn look and feel. King sized bed was comfortable, plenty of towels and shower had great water pressure. Attached restaurant was extremely convenient. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was acceptable with muffins, pastries, bagels, cereal, packaged oatmeal, coffee and tea. Entire place was extremely clean!

No hairdryer or iron/ironing board. Oranges were a bit over ripe and apples had some rotten spots. Tea was limited with only a few green teas. Breakfast area was extremely clean and organized.

The room was bigger than I imagined. I had a wonderful ensuite bathroom, which was clean. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and were interested in helping in any way that they could. It was a wonderful stay. I am thinking about maybe coming back just to have a nice weekend alone again to recharge.

I would have liked some more non-dairy options for breakfast, but it really did have a great selection. The breakfast sandwiches looked good. I was able to eat some fresh fruit and oatmeal with hot water, which was just fine.

Breakfast OK, the fresh muffins were nice but had a hard time deciphering your legend. None had dots on them. Enjoyed the cinnamon bagel and cream cheese one day and a muffin the next. Was nice to have individual coffee brewing, especially in the evening.

Someone needed to wipe down tables, though as crumbs and coffee from Saturday was still on a table Sunday. Would have liked bread to toast along with bagels, they're a little heavy sometimes. a choice of another breakfast sandwich besides sausage would have been nice, as I can't eat that. Would have liked to see just a plain yogurt. Could have used some eggs though someway. as for the room it was a nice size and very comfortable, but the bathroom was really too small, especially the shower. Not even 3 x 3 no room to bend over to wash legs and feet. Too close to toilet too, which was right up against the wall. Toilet paper roll in the way. Bathroom sink handle leaked all over sink top while on. Needed accessible plugs, had to put electronics on floor to charge overnight.

This was our second visit to the Waynebrook Inn; it's located in a quiet, sleepy little PA town in the middle of Amish country; quaint, clean, comfortable rooms, each with it's own quirk that makes it unique. Fridge and microwave in each room; the staff was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent!

There really isn't much to dislike about the Waynebrook Inn; I guess the only downside was some of the chairs in the Garden Room need repaired. Maybe some chairs out front so guests can relax and watch the horse carts go by.

Very unique! We stayed two separate days this week because we liked it so much! The second day we stayed we tried the restaurant and the food was delicious… the strawberry and cream cheese cake was awesome!

Beds could be more comfortable but they weren’t terrible! Kinda hard to find someone at the front desk always have to ask at the restaurant or call the phone number.

Everything. Loved the decor, people, food. Bed was very comfortable.

Some of the wallpaper was peeling off of the walls. the bathroom door was a little awkward and the toilet paper. The window right in front of the toilet was a bit awkward but I just closed the curtains. These are not complaints, just things I noticed. The entire stay was great. I am very happy.

We loved the Spa Tub in the Queen Suite.

The ONLY negative notation was the Elevator being out of service. We loved our room on the 4th floor, but that walk up 3 or 4 flights of stairs with suitcases each time took alot out of us. We were planning to hit the Pub at 9pm and hang out all night, for dinner and drinks, but decided just to cancel those plans because the elevator was still broken.
