Home2 Suites By Hilton Ephrata

This was the first Home2 Suites we have ever been in, and because our experience was so good we have stayed in several more along the east coast. The Ephrata hotel is the best one of all in all ways. The location is also perfect because there is a beautiful little park behind the hotel, with trails, as well as a lovely neighborhood. Also, there are major stores and eateries across the street. For outdoor people, there are many places nearby to hike, walk, and canoe or kayak. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. And for us, we love that we can bring the dog. I highly recommend this hotel.

There was so much attention to details of comfort in this room, right down to the curtain that could be pulled out to divide the sleeping and living areas. The beds were very comfortable - even the pull-out sofa bed! There was plenty of storage space, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We were traveling with small children, and the large size of the room gave plenty of space for them to burn up their energy before bed! As a bonus, we were able to get a hot plate - free of charge - for in-room cooking.

The only issue we experienced was that the walk-in shower tended to splash a lot, leaving the bathroom floor slick. Also, the bathroom ventilation was not particularly effective, which compounded the problem. However, no one was injured. :-)

The laundry was taken by someone who was apparently washing clothes for the week , it took almost 3 hours to wash my sons soccer uniform because of the wait. Also the breakfast could be a lot better , the waffle mix wasn’t refilled, the coffee took 20 mins to refill as well , I think having an extra person helping the lady w the breakfast during rush hour would make the experience more pleasant , In addition, there wasn’t any whole milk , only fat free .The breakfast was essentially a poor attempt to provide guests w a meal .

Spacious room, great temperature control, quiet, clean, lots of counter and drawer space, and welcomes dogs. Our dog loved it too.

Well, I appreciate a decent kitchen, so a stovetop is fairly essential. While they did provide an induction plate with a small pan, which we never used, we had brought our own electric wok, which saved the kitchen issues. As with almost all hotels, there are never adequate bars to hang towels. I just don't understand that. Also, an inexpensive little extra touch would be to have under-cabinet lights for all that counter space.

wasn’t too happy this time around. I didn’t like that in the pool there was a team of kids in the pool & weren’t behaving. there was no discipline. My little girl didn’t enjoyed the pool because of lack of respect to other customers staying there. & breakfast could’ve been a little better! more variety in bagels & danish. counter could’ve been wipe down better. I’ve stayed here before & it was great. I think this time it was just to over pack with kids that don’t behave & don’t care. couldn’t enjoy the facilities this time around.

The breakfast was good. Nice variety. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The pool was nice, my son didn't want to get out of it. The location was great. Nice and peaceful. The lobby was nice. Had board games and computers.

I don't have any complaints. Nothing was wrong with the facility. So, with that being said everything was great.

I liked the size of the room and the bathroom. I was surprised it had a kitchenette and full size refrigerator. The beds were pretty comfortable.

The staff was good, but I saw some things that can be improved. During breakfast, there should be a staffer there in case someone runs into problems. There was a gentleman who had problems with the waffle maker and the line got longer and longer and there was no staff that promptly helped him. The line grew longer and some people walked away. The staff did not bother to ask my husband who checked us in if he knew how to download the app in order to get into the room. On our last day one of the staff members gave us a list of attractions in the area. That would have been great the first day we got there. Other than that, I liked the facilities and the location of the hotel.

We travel a fair amount. This hotel ranks among the top 4 or 5 places we have stayed. The suite was spotlessly clean, extremely spacious, and the kitchen was nicely stocked with new appliances and dishes. We appreciated being able to adjust the temperature individually for the bedroom and the living room. The light blocking shades and the light filtering shades worked individually for the bedroom and the living room, and were super easy to use. Breakfast was better than most hotels, and the staff was unfailingly polite and happy to help, always greeting us with a real smile.

Not having a fan in the bathroom/shower area meant steam built up and may eventually lead to mold. It was difficult to find the hotel because the actual address does not work on any GPS. A phone call to the front desk led to the staff member finding the address of a nearby business and providing us with directions from there, which worked just fine.

I loved EVERYTHING! But, I really loved the way we all were Greeted when we walked into the room. From arrival to coming bk from an outing! The shower was Fabulous and I loved having a kitchenette. With a family of 6 it really helps! I can't think of 1 downfall we had. We stayed in a 3.5 star hotel in Missouri at a well known and highly ranked Hotel & Conference Center and it was the absolutely WORST hotel ever. Rude staff from beg to end. So we didn't have high hopes coming here but we were BLOWN AWAY! Believe me, you will DEFINITELY LOVE THIS HOTEL, and the staff is Excellent, from the front desk to the pleasant housekeeping staff I encountered. Thank you!!!!

Room was nice, everything was clean. What staff we did see were friendly, mostly the guy who sets up the food in the morning!

Breakfast was the same everyday and all stuff I couldn't eat.. Price was higher than I'd like Wasn't warned that a large group had booked during the same time..food was wiped out.. always over packed. Couldn't sit outside near the fire pit because it was taken up by this large crowd. Went into the pool, only for 20 to 30 younger adults all jump in the pool at the same time, barely any room to move let alone swim. Was soooo noisy that I had to scream for my child to even hear me! Most of the young men were rude..bumping into us, jumping on us. Was only able to enjoy the pool for 10 mins in 3 days! I wish I would have been made aware of it some how..before getting there so I could have booked else where!!
